Danny is almost 60.  He's a goddamn monster.

The thing that makes Danny the GOAT imo isn't that he just has insane technical prowess. It's his ability to write insanely original beats that are extremely complex but still have so much groove.

those aren't drumsticks, they are the femurs of his fallen enemies

I’m happy to know that I’m not the only black guy at the TOOL concert any more!

Tool marathon next has to happen. There are just too many amazing songs that you guys are missing out on from their older catalogue. The Grudge, H, Eulogy, Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned, and you guys haven't even touched Undertow!

Alice in Chains was fun, but this. is. necessary.

It's not just that he's playing these polyrhythms perfectly...it's that he's doing it effortlessly.  He's on cruise control the whole time.

Y'all remember when George had Lars Ulrich as his #1 Drummer? He has come a long way.

My first ever reaction to Tool. I was 13. On a salmon fishing trip with my dad. We were sitting in his car taking a break from the rain, wet and cold he told me "Listen to this!" And he played Eulogy as loud as his Toyota could! I was in awe, never forgot that song. It left an everlasting scar on my mind. For years, I could not shake what I felt when I heard that song for the first time. After the release of Fear Inoculum, my love and passion for the band has grown ever stronger, and I am being brought back to that moment in my dads car, listening to Tool and trying to get warm. This is a band that will be with me for as long as I live! Thanks for the reaction, guys!

This is why Tool fans are so die hard because we know how special Tool is 🖤🖤

Love how casual it all ends.  He lays down his sticks, brushes his hair back, he knows he just created a masterpiece.  Just elevated.

"He's about to leave Earth" you mean he's taking a quick trip back home.

I'm impressed how you understand the grooves, the complexity, the "effortless" and SPECIALLY DANNY THE GOAT. It takes great understanding, specially when the genre is not your main taste. Congratulations on great appreciation and reacts to TOOL. Hip hop head here, btw.

Can you imagine being the drummer in a band and the other guys tell you that we're gonna cover some Tool songs?

Dany studied and loves African poly rhythms, it’s in almost every one of his songs.

Danny looks like he's just chilling at a cookout while he's destroying the kit.

So effortless.

You don't just listen to Tool, you experience it!

"It was about to climax!"
"I already climaxed!"  LOL 🤣

Ryan: “That was about to climax there!”
George: “I already climaxed man”....THIS IS MY INTERNAL DIALOGUE DURING EVERY TOOL SONG 😂🤣

7empest. 7empest, 7EMPEST. Do it already.

Danny Carey is one of the greatest drummers of all time. Tool’s been rocking since the early 90’s and I feel like every album they put out he manages to amaze me even more. In my opinion he is the best drummer to ever live.
