Steve Harris(Bassist) wrote this song about having nightmares from watching the Omen 2🙂

The lead singer flew the band around on Flight 666.... a Boeing 737 !!! 747.......He had a commercial pilot's license

Everytime I see the big Eddie on stage I get a chuckle cuz he fell down at the concert I was at. Lol.

Yes, the themes of evil, demons, etc. are for fun and also trolling the pearl-clutchers but can also be used to make people aware and warn them of the real evils of the world.

The first CD I bought as a teenager. I was instantly hooked. I've been telling people for years that if want history lessons, listen to Iron Maiden and Sabaton

not "woman staring back at me" is "warped mind staring back at me" 👍 my first Iron Maiden show was '83 Piece of Mind tour 🤘 check out "Flight of Icarus official video"

i love it, when this song is played in 28 years later: the bone temple. 🙂👍

I wonder if Jilly knows that in the early days of Iron Maiden in 1978, people would show up at their gigs with cardboard cut-out guitars to perform their air guitar mimes along with the music.

Stumbled apon you through a Family Guy reaction then saw you found Maiden,(and rock/metal) you've opened a door to so much music you can explore.

I remember buying this lp as a teenager. Blew my mind

The dancers represent the weird randomness that is a part of dreams, and the strange transitions between parts of a dream.  The whole thing is meant to show a nightmare, and makes an analogy to feeling like being possessed.

Listening to the older iron madian its even better especially in the 90s

You will be glad to know ALL the members of Iron Maiden are devoted CHRISTIANS 🙏🙏

Reflections of my Warped mind staring back at me!

Iron maiden is just the greatest band in the world...Please react to iron maiden Dance of death live (en Vivo)...

Your videos are so Amazing.  And I like your dance moves Jilllyyy 🇨🇦👑🌹

Steve Harris wrote this song after having a nightmare about witnessing a satanic incantation and he’s just describing what he saw in his dream. Obviously iron maiden faced a lot of backlash for this from a lot of Christians and a lot of religious people, accusing them of being Satanist but obviously not fully understanding the context of the song. If you like screams, I suggest you listen to this song called beyond the black by one of the most underrated, heavy metal bands of all time metal church. This song is a banger when I first heard this song it blew me the fuck away because I’ve never heard anything like it. In the middle of the song, there’s this really good scream that the lead singer does and not only that, but he also had a really raw gritty, powerful voice.

the song was inspierd by a nightmare bassist steve harris had about the film danien omen 2, also,  inspierd by robert burns 18th century classic  poem tam 'o' shanter,  it has little to do with devil worship.

more headbangig jilllyyy!!

IRON MAIDEN:LIVE AFTER DEATH 1985-LONG BEACH CALIFORNIA:

I saw them in Long Beach California where I lived at the time I’m in Santa Monica now but they played 4 nights from Thursday to Sunday and I was there all four nights in 1985. They filmed 🎥 the shows for what became the Live After Death cd/dvd! My favorite Bruce Dickinson moment: SCREAM FOR ME LONG BEACH…SCREAM FOR ME LONG BEACH…SCREAM FOR ME LONG BEACH ARENA!!!
