I’ve been looking for a set up just like this, and you did an awesome job by the way. I just wish you had the blueprint of the whole thing, I would love to build this for myself.

Nicely done on the rack sides pocket screwed to the top after it was in place. The structural rigidity you get from the rack pieces is all you need. I usually leave 19 1/8" space for a 1/16" on either side for play - 19" is the width of rack gear, but good to have it not too tight. The benefit of the brad nailed top is that if he wants a longer span for 2 27" monitors and speakers it's easy to swap it out.

When you take time and really practice your craft it shows. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. May it inspire others to be their best.

awesome

Very complicated looking design and construction, looks good.

Nicely done!

Woah, less coffee dude!

Really great looking desk. I have the same QCon controllers so this would be perfect for my new desk build.

Dope

Awesome build!!!!!!

This is a gorgeous desk! Excellent work!

Nice! Wish I had the tools (and skill) to build my desk. I had my desk custom built, but I don't really have the time for the next one.

Not loving the gap around the recessed equipment. Kudos for using edge banding, though.

the best diy ive seen yet and ive been watching these videos forever lol.

super. where did you bought the pieces for the keyboard shelf?

Cable management becomes a key issue with a standing desk.

Cool, but not cool for me. I want my equipment on the sides like left and right and then more space in between that for my 2 screens and the studio music monitors on top. that would be my best setup to go with. Would want a lighter color of wood also and the holes shut be nices covered with some pvc thingy's to let the wires go trough for a smoother look. But these just how i wanted it to be.

can u please send me the plans

hey, i wanna build a similar desk and searching for some inspiration. the link to the schematics not longer available could you sent me the plans?
thank you

Hey. I’m on the hunt for a desktop similar to this. Do you still do custom work?
