I'm a guy and I've been growing my hair for about 6 months now, had long hair before when I was younger, got it to chest length, but never took proper care of it.
Gonna start my hair routine journey because of all your videos!
My favorite hair people on the planet ! tomorrow’s wash day and I just got in the mail. You’re leaving conditioner and your weightless hair oil. I’m so freaking excited. Love you guys.
I have been using Davines OI hair oil for years and it is absolutely phenomenal. It makes your hair soo smooth and shiny because it moisturizes your hair exceptionally well, it is extremely light and you can use it on curly or straight hair. And last but not least, it smells AMAZING. It is pricey, I don't know how much it would cost in the USA but in Europe it is very expensive, but you are definitely getting your money's worth.
I have fine scandinavian type hair and I found the Olaplex oil recommendation through this channel and it has helped a lot in reducing the split ends and retaining growth. I previously thought hair oils were not for me as my hair was very clumped when using other hair oils. It is also true that Olaplex oil lasts for like 6 months when used daily for fine hair! I hope they never stop making that oil!
I first tried the moraccan oil on my 7 year old's hair. She's half pacific islander and has long, thick, beautiful hair and that oil works amazingly on her. Great for detangling right after the bath also! Her hair just soaks it up and doesnt leave it looking greasy at all.
For me, Revlon Orofluido argan oil is the best. I have tried many types of hair oil, but this is the best quality for the price. I also read the leaflet, it has the same ingredients as those that are three times more expensive
I love the Live Love Locks products - all of them. I even bought the set for my neighbor who also loves them. Her hair is coarse (gray) and she LOVES highly fragranced product so she’s a convert. I’m happy to see that you rated good ol’ Olaplex so high, as I have thinning and super fine hair that truly doesn’t like anything heavier than Olaplex. Sorry Chris, but I tried your oil and although the fragrance is fantastic, it is just too heavy for me and my puny hair. I will continue to buy and use your shampoo and conditioner and leave-in as well as your wet brush, but I will also use the Olaplex oil. The combination has really improved my hair’s condition and appearance - I usually skip three days between shampoos! Almost zero breakage and no frizziness - holds my style for days. Thanks for the comparisons and for the amazing products.
i use an oil without silicones (Rizo’s Curls Nourishing), but i have been following your method (using leave-in religiously and using less products) and i think it has genuinely helped me to retain my ends. i have dark, wavy hair and get lots of highlights, and my lengths are looking fuller and healthier. can’t wait to see how my hair looks like in year.
