Minsc knows Boo since the very beginning. When you encounter Minsc in Baldurs Gate I he already has Boo. He travels with the Bhaalschild for one year, according to the lore, before Baldurs Gate 2 begins. When the event in Throne of Bhaal occurs Boo is already three years old. He is four years at the end of the addon. All according to the lore. And dont forget: Minsc found Boo during his Dajemma. A dajemma takes up to 1 year at least. So Boo is way over 4 years old and still kicking. What a trooper!

Boo actually was a miniature giant space hamster...that was confirmed by the previous devs after BG1 or 2...

Edit: also Minsc and several other character from bg 1 and 2 were originally Dark Sun characters.  Minsc was a ranger from Gulg who was so low level that he got immediately knocked out every fight and his animal companion, Boo did all the fighting because i guess the dm didnt have the heart to have someone just stomp a hamster out of existence.

In another universe, Minsc is the main character of the game and Boo is his guide.

As for who Withers answers to I would think if they had the opportunity to make another game we would revisit Planescape Torment so I would assume the Lady of Pain would make a comeback.

"No Gods Allowed"

If the grand design succeeds, the world will have no souls. If the dead have no souls, Kelemvor can't do his job of shepherding the souls of the dead. So he sends jergal, who now works as his scribe, to help the party. "So he has spoken, and so thou standest before me, right as always"

This is arguably the main reason why Myrkul is on board with this plan. Bhaal wants to kill everything, Bane wants to rule everything. Myrkul wants to screw kelemvor over because he took his domain. So Kelemvor more than any god arguably has a vested interest in preventing the dead three from succeeding.

There is evidence it was originally going to be helm, but this doesn't really make much sense. Jergal doesn't have any connection to him, and Helm is the god of guards, not just good guards who protect but evil ones too. He is totally loyal and follows orders to the point that in the time of troubles, he was the only god that Ao trusted to have not stolen the tablets of fate, and so he was the only god not to have their divinity stripped in the crisis. He is absolutely not the sort of god who would interfere in the fate of the world, and he doesn't really have any justification or reason to. Hence why the only reference to Helm being involved is buried deep in the game files and nowhere in the final product.

Withers is not all that powerful. He is a lesser deity of scribes and works for Kelemvor, the lord of the dead.

He WAS the greatest Evil Deity before giving away his powers (perhaps barring Shar) thoigh.

Morty ahh theory. Approved

So many videos are just combined reposts now. I love the channel but are we trying to become watch mojo? Just so I know what to expect.

12:31 it can't be both? Sloppy theorizing ngl

I saw that Karlach scene in game without mods...dont remember when it was along the development line but I remember thinking it was awesome and hilarious.  She talks about how all the shit and tadpoles etc were worth it...as long as you had fun.
