Damn, I knew the Helios story, but never knew the ground engineer directly asked about the pressurisation system.
This was so close to being a heroic story rather than the tragedy it became

Whoever mixed the audio on this documentary did a terrible job. they have voices from the voiceover guy and also voices from the actors at the same volume. And you can't understand what's being said and whats going on. two people are speaking at the same volume and sometimes with two different languages.

And I find it crazy that everybody on that plane didn't make it as sad The oxygen deprivation is what led to everybody dying on there

24:23 If engineers aren't doing their job, i.e. not fixing reported maintenance issues, EASY: don't cut their paychecks. No work, no pay. Also surprising to me is the number of cabin occurrences that don't get reported to the cockpit...i.e. an engine is damaged/missing, as well as in this sad case of rapid decompression with O2 masks dropping in the cabin, but the pilots are unaware and unable to think clearly enough to put on their O2 masks and descend the aircraft. 😢

Airliners are dinosaurs. Relics from an older era, full of bells and whistles. It's unbelievable for a modern airplane to crash because of a switch or a sensor and it has happened so many times.

Why do you guys release the same episodes over and over?

I don’t buy it! Wikipedia said his first mayday call went out at 9:55am! The man has a pilots license yet didn’t know how to swap the channel over to talk to ATC! All the while ATC is trying their best to call the plane! The jets caught up to the plane at 11:24 and said only the co pilot was seen. The captain was not in his seat. That’s was at 11:24. They didn’t see Andre inter the cockpit and sit down until 11:49! That’s 30min. What was he doing for over 2 hours? How did he get in the cockpit? Yall call him a hero but he didn’t even try to land it! All he did was crash the plane! People say “he saved so many on the ground”! Well how close was he to Athens because the plane crashed over 25mi from the city! I don’t believe none of this crap!
