To be fair.... you only NEED 8 badges to challenge the elite 4. There could be more gyms, but you need to beat 8 of them to move forward

I was impressed by Gary catching more Pokémon, then I find out they’re dupes. That’s when I lost all respect

Gary losing to Giovanni not only was freaking satisfying but it was also the start of Gary’s development. Him losing to Giovanni so badly was the first eye opener for him. It’s when Gary slowly realizes that just cuz he’s a great trainer, it doesn’t mean he’s perfect and superior than everyone else. That there’s always gonna be other trainers who are gonna be way more stronger than him, and it happens to him again in the kanto league where he lost. And then in johto, sure he still has a bit of his sassyness but it wasn’t as annoying as it was in the kanto series. And finally his battle against ash in the johto league. A pretty amazing battle and of course the final lesson for Gary. To never underestimate your opponents and accept defeat with dignity if your opponent does manages to defeat you. I freaking love Gary’s development 😄

Team Rocket wouldn’t pull up on Gary, it’d be the other way around 😂

I'm lowkey happy that Weazy is getting some reactions his videos are Ws

There's two of Weazy's videos I HIGHLY recommend, Pat!
The first is "THE MOST EVIL VILLAIN IN ALL OF POKEMON!"
And the second is "How Ash's INFERNAPE Got the ULTIMATE REVENGE!"

gary only had duplicate pokemon because he was shiny hunting... too badd they werent in gen 1 lol

6:04, see I would agree with you, except for the fact that ash's theme for like 20-30 years was "gotta catch them all," and he only caught like 100 pokemon or so. 😂

Iirc one explanation Gary gave about the low "Pokemon seen" count is that he doesn't take out his dex every time he sees a new Pokemon.
Apparently you have to literally take out your dex and let the dex tell you what the Pokemon is to count as "seen".

But yeah dude caught more than 200 Pokemon before the league and turned out dude just caught a bunch of dupes lmao

Interestingly when they brought Gary back during Pokémon Journeys, they basically made him Goh’s rival.

i think he wore a cloak as a reference to the manga

He’s the Pokémon version of Squilliam

14:30 he be spamming those max repels after getting his mons to level 100 with rare candy😂

Whenever you react to another Weazy video, I’d recommend the “How Ash’s Infernape got The ULTIMATE Revenge”. It’s pretty good.👍

10:06 Actually yes, it is their job Patterz.

Not many know about the; Pocket Monsters: The Animation: Manga where one of the original chief writers for the early seasons explains that one of the concepts they had for Gary was that the Oak family is rich due to Prof Oak's research, and that Gary's unnamed great uncle is the mayor of Pallet Town. It is his uncle who hires woman to be Gary's fangirls and even chauffeurs since he's too young to drive. It's why in a lot of episodes there are completely different girls and sometimes previous woman just show back up, they're being paid to follow little rich bitch Gary Oak around Kanto.

I hope to see more pokemon anime reactions

The craziest thing in pkmn to me will always be how the announcer at the PWT says Blue being apart of the Oak family has THE STRONGEST GENES IN HISTORY

20:42 Gohan from DragonBall, every time skip breaks my heart.

22:25 actually, as one of the 4 Bayleef fans in the world.. Bayleef has 60 speed and Meganium has 80 speed! Yup! Same as DRAGONITE! xD

Finally! This video is top tier
