In today's video, we will be answering a question that I often get here: Should I do the TM course? Should I do the transcendental meditation course?

There are multiple reasons why I think you should or should not do the transcendental meditation course. A big part of the question is: Why is transcendental meditation so expensive?
I hope this video on TM will help you decide whether or not you should do the TM course or if you should try another form of meditation.

So many people who have done this course refuse to share any of their "secrets" which makes it sound like a cult, or maybe that they're embarrassed about paying so much. I appreciate you outlining the course.

No guru, No method, No religion.
TM has changed my life using the basic yet efficient and powerful mantra OM. I would never pay any money for a free gift available to all. I am grateful to all of the teachers in my life....most of whom are dead now and we've never met. My two cents worth 👍✌️

If you pay a lot of money for something it has more personal value than if its free. I took this course in 1980 and still meditate today. Your can make your own mantra and practice for free, If it works for you do it. Over hyped and over priced today. Meditation is like prayer you can't trade mark prayer but they trademarked TM. Good luck.

Twenty years ago I did a TM course.... U are soo right sooo expensive... why??? You teach it and it works just the same.. just focus on the music or mantra ...end of!!!! Practice practice practice and you’ll get there... to that lovely state of being!! Thank you your brilliant 🙏

I had my ceremony yesterday. Once I received my mantra and was walked through the technique, it was like I fell right into it. I love it and have no regrets paying for it, though I understand it’s a lot of money for others. I did see that they offer a sliding scale and I’m wondering if that might benefit those who would not otherwise afford it. I’m not quite on the other side of my full introduction but I can see already what a benefit this would be for anyone open to it.

My instructor told me something too that stuck with me - aside from personal growth and healing, if just 1% of a community mediates, it affects the rest of the community in a positive way. I want to understand that better. I don’t mind being fluent in wu-wu 😉😆

Thank you for your explanation which demystifies the TM program. The sales tactics they use almost turned my interest away. Although, I believe individuals with honed skills can and should be able to make a living. I am grateful I found you and look forward to learning with you. 🙏

I can see why if someone seeks out a meditation teacher, they will charge some amount of money. That's completely fine.
To me, charging for learning transcendental meditation feels like it goes against the whole idea of meditation. You should want others to be happy and reach the same place, not seek to profit off of it.
Thank you for this video.

Thank you for this, Raphael. I've been in a bit of a bad place lately, only partially because of struggling financially. I know I need something to help me out of this and I looked into learning meditation. The first thing I found was the cost for the course with the TM group. It was very disheartening. I can't tell you how happy I was to then find your videos. I think I've found the help I needed. Thank you, friend.

Jesus and all the Mystics and Saints of the last 2,000 years have had the same message;
Empty your mind of everything you think you think and think you know.

Quieting the mind
takes practice🕉

Because our minds are connected what I do for myself I do for a brother

Thank you Raphael
for the dedication you show.
Let us insist on nothing and give thanks for everything 🦋🌻
