I just bought the cheapest powered boat and motor package on Amazon. This inflatable boat comes with a little 4 HP outboard also. The whole kit only costs $499 and for that price it isn't terrible. It's not going to get you anywhere fast, but it's a great package to get you on the water! What do you think of this boat, would you buy one?

Those dudes in Thailand would have that engine spinning at 12k rpm.

luke as a small engine mechanic for 2 years and in the lawn care business for 8 and maintaining my own equipment i can confirm that you DO NOT screw the the filler plug in to check the oil you simply place it in the hole and remove it then add oil if needed...
the older early 2000's honda engines showed this using a pictogram
on the fan housing right above the dip stick
use google to find out what honda engine that is a clone of then google the correct amount of oil for said honda engine the chinese clones generally use the same amount of oil as the engine theyre cloning now be warned honda has done some wierd stuff before with oil amounts ive had one in the past that used 16 ounces instead of the normal 18 or 20 ounces

It might be time to get some friends together and deploy the entire Amazon 'Fleet' for races and a bar run. 🤣

Looks like the motor is the motor to one of those harbor freight auger hole diggers. That would explain the clutch.

If it runs a full summer weekend, Fourth of July party etc..., and you don't drown or get hurt, it's worth it.

If the motor was tilted at a better angle, I think the boat would travel much faster. It looks like the prop is pushing water downward and should be pushing water directly behind the boat for maximum thrust.

"Disappointingly good" has officially entered my vocabulary 😅

As for the oil dipstick question, you’re supposed to consult the service manual to figure out whether it should be threaded in or not. it varies based on the engine and manufacturer.

Just wanna say love the positive but humble outlook. It’s hard to find many positive people these days. Roll Tide

Video idea I want to see with all my heart:

TWIN HANGKAI’S but Jerry rigged onto remote steering. The richest poor man’s boat imaginable.

It’s gotta be possible. You were put on this earth to pull it off Luke. I believe in you

Hahahaha crudely cut with pliers then spot welded together with a microwave had me rollin

Love your show. I wanna see you fill the raft with 2 part foam to see what it does, hopefully it makes for a great and sturdy raft.

use a shop vac with the hose on the discharge port to fill inflatable

If you pull that bike shifter throttle apart, there’s a little metal or plastic spring in there that you can pull out and it won’t click anymore.

I love the interaction between Luke and Riley. Luke just does stuff, and orders things based on the picture. He seems to have no worries. Riley reads the manual non-ironically. He makes sure everything is within the tolerances specified by the manufacturer. Great team!

Dang, him and Travis Pastrana upload at the same time, but Luke has a thousand more views. I guess we know who the King of Maryland is!

Take it to OC! I work there! We are on the Assawoman Bay right next to the route 90 bridge. A lot of shallows but that boat will get to our dock. Fager's Island! No joke Luke,,join us. We will buy you and crew some beers and swap swag!

I had one of these on my old 16 foot sailboat about 7 years ago. Worked fine to get out of the slip and the marina. I was always happy when I could shut it off. I think the old ones were louder.
