Thanks for showing Cullen Beach. My parents lived there for a few years before moving along to Fochabers. I had two Aunts living there as well, one in the cottages by the viaduct in the video. Brought back some lovely memories! Would love to see you fishing in your small boat along that coast somewhere> My family originated in Banff and I well remeber my grandfather going out off banff and coming back with some lovely cod and haddock! I am a reired commercial rod and line fisherman by the way. Operated 2 9.88M Cheetah Cats in my time. Would love to have one up there now! All the best and love the quality of the videos, Gordon makes me laugh, as does his inventive rigs. Needs an interpreter though and the sub-titles are a different language altogether. Keep up the good work!

Great trip out fishing Phil. Get gordons inflatable for the sandy beaches. with a light outboard it lets you drop baits further out.

Watched it now mate and it was very good, your getting a bit good at making video's, and you had loads of fish as well, Thank you, :face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling::hand-pink-waving:

Great watch and nice fish! One bit of advice which might help is that i've found circle hooks only work with the bait presented below the hook. I think the idea is the fish suck the bait up first and then get the circle in the lip. I use hairs (small sections of braid) tied onto the circle hooks, they can be modified so the bait won't slide off the bottom of them and ive had great success with lip hooking fish. presenting the bait above the circle unfortunately makes deep hooking fish quite likely from my experience.  Been enjoying the morning videos, such a great time of day im usually too lazy to get up for 😅🎣

Hi Phil.
If you do decide to take the boat up to Cullen,as you stand on the beach the headland on your right side is called Logie head,there is a wreck of a old coal boat off there, cant remember how far,but im sure with a bit of research it will be easy enough to find.
Fished Cullen beach all my life.
Usually more towards the middle area.
Had some great days and the occasional turbot.

I stood on that beach last week and fished all day phil and blanked…. Not even a bite! To be honest i took it quite hard😞 i 4:03 threw everything but the kitchen sink at that beach…. I was further up to the left tho by the cliffs….🤷🏼‍♂️! Good going phil well done mate
