Comment what type of Formula 1 highlights I should watch next? 👀

you gotta watch the 2021 or 2012 season bro, trust me it's pure cinema

3:50 F1 cars are insanely strong, but they're also deliberately designed to be destroyed in a crash. A lot of the car is made to deform, break apart, and absorb the crash energy, rather than letting all that energy reach the driver. The driver sits inside what's called the survival cell, or monocoque, an incredibly strong carbon-fibre structure designed to maintain a protective space around them. That's why you can sometimes see an F1 car look completely destroyed after a huge crash while the survival cell around the driver remains remarkably intact. Especially now with halo (which is the thing above and around the driver's head) that can withstand around 12 tonnes of mass sitting still on it, F1 is insanely safe compared to what it was 20-30 years ago. Fernando himself said after the crash that he had to get out of the car quickly, cause (I think) his grandma was watching and he didn't want to worry her :)

At 2:40 GP2 is basically what is now called Formula 2, and he was complaining about his cars engine being as slow as a formula 2 car, racing for McLaren with a shitbox Honda engine.

19:23 a crash in f1 can cost ~$100k for a small one and up to ~$6m or more if it’s basically totaled.

1:09 Max was 17 years old in 2015, He's now 28 turning 29

The safety on these cars is absolutely insane. Apart from the central cockpit area, Formula 1 cars are designed to break apart during severe crashes to absorb as much kinetic energy as possible to keep the driver safe.

Grosjean (the guy in the fireball crash) still races in IndyCar

ricksf1addiction is definitely a good way to get into the sport, cuz in his vids you can learn something from it but at the same time its pretty funny

7:47 foreshadowing

2025 should have been gabi in sao paolo

Only found your channel yesterday subbed right after first vid I watched. Honestly your reactions are mega. You are so switched on with what you are watching and even listening properly when you are even talking so in the zone with it and literally mesmerised with it. True reaction. Love it. Keep the vids coming!

15:40 the thing is, lewis's fanbase is known for saying stuff like that. After 2021, they still call lewis an 8 time champion, and hold onto the loss like ur ex

16:40 that is the medical car and it's role is to sit behind the drivers when they start the race so in case something happens they are ready to help immediately if needed (it goes in the pit lane after the first lap though)

11:05 the this not Disney channel killed me bro

23:46 because of this comparison, max has got 5 teammates fired or demoted to the jr team and had 1 leave to go to another team because of how dominant he is….

7:45: Famous last words Before seeing the Grosjean Crash XD

in Imola 1994 two drivers were killed in the same weekend - Roland Ratzenberger in qualifications on Saturday and legendary Ayrton Senna in the race on Sunday.

21:21 yeah, that's often why the second driver always gets fired, because they are expecting a driver that can compare to him in there first year, it's called the "second seat driver curse"

The wood on the cars is just so the rules officials know the car isn’t scraping in the floor too much
