Hey guys, thought I'd share the story of my admissions interviews for Cambridge uni! Good luck to everyone who has an interview coming up (whether it's for Oxbridge, another uni, or even for a job!). I know they can be nerve-wracking but try to stay calm, have confidence in yourself and showcase what you can do! Getting an interview is an achievement in itself so be proud of yourself and enjoy the opportunity to discuss and explore the subject you're interested in with a top academic.
P.S. be sure to let me know how you get on :)

Favorite acid?  Mine is DNA.  Never go anywhere without some.

I wouldn’t even know how to answer “what’s your favourite acid?” 😂

Paige just casually throwing shade over Holiday Inn Hotel ♥️😂 loved the video!

I've noticed that at my university the over confident and "know it all out spoken " students tend to do worse than is expected of them . I anticipate low on my tests and actually do better than is expected lol . being humble is always a good thing . I'm from the Caribbean BTW.

I applied to Cambridge last October and had my interview last December (bio natsci at Homerton). I completely bottled a probability question on my biology interview. Very embarrassing as I do further maths so I should be able to do maths problems... my interviewer told me my method was correct but I’d made some mistakes. I was convinced that I hadn’t been memorable or outstanding enough on either interview, but I was offered a place! It really is impossible to judge how well you’ve done on those interviews.

Wow, this is intense. I'm an American student, and the admissions process for university is way less stressful than this. I remember freaking out a lot during that time, and it was so easy in hindsight (especially compared to this). Props to you!

I have an interview on the 7th of December at Churchill college Cambridge. So nervous... wish me luck!!

everybody was/is so concerned about what to wear to interview and I wore a hoodie and jeans to my interview 😂

Remember watching this very stressfully before my interview. I got an offer so thanks for the help!

Ethanoic acid for the win 👊

Thank you for this, Paige! You're a very good story teller ^^

Some thoughts about your last remark on confidence - you're right in that it doesn't determine whether you did well (especially because it's about being teachable and not perfect), but I also think that we (particularly girls) tend to automatically undermine ourselves so as not to feel too disappointed afterwards (or because it's expected socially and we somehow feel we'll be more successful for it in the end?). So to anyone who has an interview coming up, don't put yourself down by trying to depict whatever you did wrong during the interview - your application is reviewed holistically AND like Paige here you'll probably have done better than you think. Good luck to everyone, congratulations for all of your interviews!

I have an interview at St. John’s for HSPS on the 12th... argh!😂😩💕x

I feel like everyone's second interview feels better than the first! I had interviews for MML at Trinity and my Russian one was so much better than my French one, not necessarily because I'm better at Russian but I think I was just used to the format by the second one and it made me feel more comfortable. I'm just super nervous for the 14th now aaaa 😫

Can you do a video about how to get over failure and stress of the exams?? I love your videos so much👍🏻💖💖

Dear Paige, I will have my bio Natsci interviews at Selwyn College tomorrow. Your videos really give me strength!! Wish me good luck.

You are a very good story teller ☺️

I'm kinda 5 years away from uni, but I'm just obsessed with Cambridge and I hope I'll study there one day!
Wish me luck

I'm sure it was an intense moment. Still glad you made it out alive though haha 👌😂

Anyone else binge watching videos like this the day before their interviews oops? Ngl find them quite reassuring :)
