We had a Secret Santa gift exchange at work today and mine got me Christmas pudding flavoured fudge from Butlers as part of mine and I am very excited to tuck into it this evening 🎄

Aaaaah, NOSTALGIA! I’ve always been a puddingaholic, so this video was heaven. Missing from my school dinner puddings was gypsy tart: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gypsy_tart (but I see it’s said to originate in Kent, where I went to school, so that may explain it).Custard non-negotiable, even with a custard-based pudding. Way back in the day we had a works outing to The Pudding Club (est. 1985) for supper, which was fab. I even had the recipe book. I’m really pleased to see that it’s still going. Please ma’am, can we have some more?
