I love that Buddhist saying for suffering! “Perpetual dissatisfaction”That was my adult son who took his life last week, 12 days ago. He was born with brain disorders and then had meningitis at age 7 for 2 months, and was still sick, but he was brilliant, in so many ways, so the hyperlexia was overlooked. He developed fears and ADHD, and so many diagnoses from every doctor took him to. Then, TBIs (internal and external) and Lyme, Babesia, and mold toxicity, plus long Covid. Since his liver was damaged because he was trying to take his life for several years, he developed hepatic encephalopathy, which I found out myself only after he died. WHY didn’t they tell us? He looked 8 months pregnant. It was obvious and his mental instability was so apparent. We, as parents, were not equipped to care for him. I’ve been sick for 23 years, and after retiring from teaching, I was home to help, but I didn’t feel well, made him food, etc.
 What a sad, and preventable death, but he didn’t want to follow through. He liked instant gratification. That was from his brain damage.
  He kept saying that same thing to us. He couldn’t take this life anymore, and after 3 “Tylenol poisoning” episodes in the ICU for liver damage and didn’t qualify for a transplant, he talked his way out if psychological help. . They released him as “stable, but he was SO SICK, and was vomiting up buckets of red bile. We found him in the morning in his bed (around his dad and me), after we had checked in him throughout the night, but he was so weak and couldn’t have come back from this last damage, and he was mostly cold. It was beyond my comprehension, but I knew my mom and his dog came to get him. 😇😇😇🐕
