McDuffie is a King. He needs to be praised alongside the likes of Kirby, Lee and Ditko!

Thank you 4 having me! As always, the video is Fantastic

Honestly, McDuffie should be on everyone's comic book mount rushmore. As well as the 2000AD guys

One of the saddest days in comics was when Dwayne left this world. He was truly an amazing writer.

I loved when the future FF showed up and Ben more or less said "Oh yeah after Civil War and before that thing with the Skrulls". They nailed how little Secret Invasion was going to be remembered by the heroes.

Hickman's run heavylli is built on this run

@McSomething15 1 year ago

This run was very underappreciated as it was coming out.

I didn't notice the plaque in the background until now. A belated congratulations!

14:52 THAT'S ON FOUR F...
My lawyer has advised me not to continue citing that meme.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure Dwayne McDuffie was the first person to make Storm the Host of Eternity.

Man, I love all the history and behind-the-scenes info Owen provides for the books he talks about. Knowing that writing Fantastic Four was Dwayne McDuffie's dream project for years makes this run on F4 all the more special and meaningful!

Dwayne always knew how to write great stories and deserves more recognition for his work. May he RIP

0:03 Took their first steps….I see what you did there!

without this run, you don't get the hickman stuff that came later. it puts the toys back in the box, ie the FF coming back together, post civil war. due to that fact, it's top 5 runs for me.

My favorite Fantastic Four is Walter Simonson's run. It made me a fan of the Fantastic Four.

A short run, but a lowkey extremely essential one. There are very few people as important to the modern comics & animation landscapes as Dwayne McDuffie. So much of the best of both trace directly back to him.
