Linda shares memories of her strong community beginnings in The New Lodge, before speaking openly about the loneliness and uncertainty she experienced having a child born with Down syndrome. At a time when she felt she had few people who truly understood what she was going through, Linda’s own experiences became the foundation for something much bigger.

Today, Linda is a passionate advocate for families of children with disabilities, supporting multiple disability projects at The 174 Trust and helping to create a community where families can connect, share experiences and support one another.

Regardless of background, shared experiences bring people together. Through her work, Linda has helped create a space where parents can find understanding, friendship, encouragement and a sense of belonging.
