Every long time Vikings fan knows how this ends....

KOC himself said to stack completions. Crazy how a quicker shorter passing game helps accomplish this more than trying to get 25+ yarders every play. Especially when the QB is not a deep ball thrower.

How is losing Jackson not the headline? Devastating loss.

A quarterback without play action from under center is like a point guard without a layup

Honestly, Mackey's takes are getting insufferable. He's just assuming the defense is going to be this elite all year. Anything can happen and you can't just blindly rely on this defense never breaking or not getting injured. YOU HAVE TO GET AHEAD OF THIS NOW!!!

The young inexperienced QB we traded never got grace, so I’m not giving grace to Kevin O’Connell and Kyler who’s been in the league for 8 seasons. The offense needs to vastly improve immediately.

The best way would have been to keep McCarthy and put him in the Dilfer/Johnson role with this team as it's constructed and use the time for him to be Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

"Can Minnesota Vikings win a Super Bowl with this formula?" Nope. They can't even win a playoff game with this formula of Field Goals only and relying on lucky takeaways, questionable penalties/flags going our way every game, and overall weird outcomes that just keep bouncing our way somehow, regardless of Offensive incompetence.

@chhinchhem3816 8 hours ago

Enough of Herbert. You really want “IF” man, who hasn’t won a playoff game with a coach who hasn’t won a playoff game.

I would love to see a game where we’re up a touchdown +, and see Kyler play very carefully. There’s something awesome about playing with a lead, and that says a lot about a team.

Koc mind:
-drafts a run dominate QB. Makes him throw the ball a bunch
- gets a short throw game QB. Make him perform long developing plays

1971, the Vikings allowed 9.9 points per game, and they lost to Dallas in the playoffs. Defense alone won't win us a Super Bowl; I worry about whether we could beat San Francisco to get there this year.

@BigMac_7406 9 hours ago

Why did the Vikings sign DeeJay Dallas and Devin Neal when Joe Mixon was available 😭

@roughcountryoutdoors3842 5 hours ago (edited)

There will be 1 or 2 games in the playoffs that the Vikings will need to put up 30+ points. Every team that goes all the way has to have those types of games. I will stay skeptical until I see more offense from them. History shows, with a top defense, you still need a functional top 15 offense to win. 32nd ranked offense won’t get it done. Great start for them, playoffs are most likely to happen and they have 14 weeks to sort out the offense.

People excusing this offense are insane, so many people happy about being 4-0.. these players gain generational wealth for playing a game and are ATROCIOUS at their job, it's mostly on KOCs terrible play calling but still. KOC wasted last year, which was proven after the adjustments to winning were made far too late last season and now it's going to cost this year come playoff time, KOC has to go
