The Paradise Lost trilogy isn't a movie or a tv series. It's a true crime documentary about 3 teenagers who came to be known as the West Memphis Three who were wrongfully accused and incarcerated for murdering a child in their small town. They were found guilty with zero evidence and just because they listened to death metal music and dressed a certain way. The injustice and prejudice that saw them charged as guilty led to a nationwide movement to free them after people watched the documentaries and they were finally released after decades of imprisonment. Celebrities like Johnny Depp offered public support and became good friends with them as well and the Innocence Project took on their case and eventually got them out of prison.

It's one of the most high profile cases in American history.
