Swirls and cow licks all have old cowboy tales!

I sure appreciate all the explanations you give in the videos. Thanks. Amazing how much work goes into ranching.

Hope that "Belted Galloway"  doesn't hang out near the highway, you'll never here the end of it. 😂

Being an old cowgirl myself I've always wondered about the back story behind Wayne. He's sure been a big help to you.

If I was 50 years younger, knew how to ride and had a horse I would love to help you. But, I'm an old woman, don't know how to ride, have never owned a horse.
But I've learned so much about ranching, cattle and horses. Thank you for the weekly lesson.
God bless you all.

I'm really excited to see how the saddle will turn out and how it performs on your horses! So keep working hard and don't waste any time! lol

Here we go. Let's go ranchin 😁

I worked on a sheep and cattle station (ranch) in New Zealand that run Angus and Hereford cows,
30 years previously they ran Belted Galloways,
And still cows would show up with a narrow belt, and those cows calves always had a belt, they have very strong genes, that’s for sure

Congratulations on your new base Place. I hope it is yours and that you get many many years of family usage out of it. It's always exciting to see somebody expand And use that country as it should be.   I pray all the time that the pictures you take of the old ancient dwellings and houses and stuff that no 1 figures out where they are. There's always someone out there who has to ruin it forever. And that cannot be replaced ever. Thank you again for your videos!

Great idea to walk the horse back to the trailer or the barn. I had a horse years ago that had been barn spoiled before I bought him. Heading home on the first ride out he thought he would run. The only way to make him stop was to turn him in a circle and at the same time grab his ear and twist it to get his mind off running away. After about the fourth time he figured out it was better for him to just walk. Ended up being he best horse I ever had. Once I taught him some rules.

Absolutely correct on the cow lick!

Your cattle always look very healthy…nice ribeye!!  I would love to buy a steak dinner with Wayne, just for the stories.  Nothing better than a quiet man who speaks loudly with his work.

The one dog that I would always take would be Rhonda.

In my experience, those old tales about the cowlicks have been pretty accurate. Thanks for another great video!

We definitely watch out for where the swirls are on our horses.  I think it mostly holds true.

That was unreal Shawn, I watch all your videos, great viewing, the cowlick information is interesting, and lm a little in front of Wayne, im 73 but watch  YouTube because of all the cowboy videos from the USA, Bloody Great Mate! Cheers from Australia

Thank you for letting us know which horse you are riding, or who the dogs are. I know most of them by sight, but some I am not quite sure of. And thank you for explaining who Wayne is. Always wondered. 70 years old. He rides like a 40 year old! Also, glad Jaden helped! Always good to see him. Love how you keep checking your back cinch 😂. Made you look 😂. I keep it snug because I do a lot of brush popping. Don’t want a stick getting caught in the back cinch! Thank you again. Excellent video.

Great Video.  I find you like Wayne a true Cowboy.  Making saddles by hand, riding training young horses while herding cattle to another pasture.  I agree on never letting your horse run home.  I always did the same walk them.

In almost70 years of owning horses I've never paid any attention to them still riding and day working as much as possible

God’s own country, indeed. Hard and dedicated work but a gift to us watching. Brings back a memory of a week on a working ranch in the Ruby Mountains, Nevada. Love your perspectives on this life.
