I always liked the way the announcer at the start was very careful to pronounce the two D’s between the words Blind and Date. “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s BlinD Date”.

Men dressed smartly is impossible to find.

It's so strange watching this 33 year later.  I was a child. My how people, their dress sense and general appearance have changed.  The Sunderland woman, looks so pretty but you'd never see anyone young look like that today.  The one in the black dress with slick back hair - that was the way many sophisticated women, especially models looked back then.  You never see it now.
