Today we are back in Tokyo looking at a loft unit. This area of Tokyo is in the Shinjuku ward, closest train station is Ushigomeyanagi Station. This unit could be a dealer breaker for those who scare easy.

If I were a nine-year-old child, I would love this

That double ladder is super weird, especially because there's enough ceiling clearance to make it just one. The cutout in the wall is perfect for throwing laundry and stuff downstairs, instead of having to carry it down a ladder.

It’s like the cemetery owner designed this apartment. If you slip out of bed you might end up never leaving 🪦

"Ladder number one." And I am done.
I often wonder why the ladder railing is not on the open side, or it have two railings.

Those loft stairs are a slipping accident waiting to happen. After coming back from a late night out and have to climb up then down in the night to use the loo, yea. Maybe it comes with it’s own headstone in the adjacent cemetery. 😮

Love the view. You were brave to film and walk up and down those stairs in socks! No toilet trips in the middle of the night.

Since the washer space doesn't have a basin to set it in, a rolling platform could be made for a small washer. Then it can be rolled in the closet space when not in use. It only takes 2 minutes to hook up. The wheels would have to lock, when in use.

I like this place! Such an RV-ish! Whimsical but cozy🥰
And the neighborhood is pretty awesome, especially that 'quiet' part 😇
