Don't ever buy no FNAF 1 from the gas station bro

Hello! Scary Pizzaria 3D Creator here.

First off, I'd like to actually apologize for not thinking about making the PC user namedrop an OPTIONAL setting as a feature, without a warning no less. I'm sorry if this caused you trouble, it was not intentional whatsoever to cause anything, it was just more so to throw you off. Second, wow this game is so... so buggy. 😭Part of me genuinely isn't surprised at how many bugs you encountered, cause every time I see someone play the game, a new bug I never knew about comes into play. If I ever have such a good amount of free time, I will hopefully do a very big Quality of Life update that tries to fix all of these bugs/cons, because I don't like it at all when someone has a negative experience with something I poured months into. I'm glad you at least enjoyed some parts of it. This was a very enjoyable video to watch nonetheless, definitely subscribing to tune in frequently! Hope you have a wonderful day, and thank you for giving my game a chance. 💙

I love when these games misspell their characters for no reason. Why yes, I am more scared now that “Freddy” is “Fart”

man despite being a joke game, buddy's ending seech hits hard, in a way many other actual serious fan games fail to do, honestly i'm excited to see marco's next game, if he put that much effort into an april's fool game, the actual real fangame is going to hit like a truck

I think most people have a problem with sincerity, so when they make something they actually want to create, they have to bash it down to ironic status as to save themselves the embarrassment of SOMEONE posting the spongebob roller coaster gif. FNAF 1 Remake is the biggest example of sincerity being so close to being there but it feels like whoever made it didn't want to be seen as cringe, so they make fun of people who actually get invested in the project because that's the only way they have control over what people will see their creation as, a joke.

Me when the glamrock dusky malware takes over my computer and asks for 5 fazcoins and im broke so they lowkey explode my computer with oatmeal pictures

The Buddy Monologue is SUCH a good and genuinely scary moment?? dusky’s voice acting elevates how frickin disturbing it is (or what I assume is dusky speaking, I can hear their voice a bit easier during the peak of the vocal distortion)
But in the game, the way the window SHAKES, the way the face distorts further and further— It feels so GOOD! The art style of the face itself is fun in how it’s disturbing and the sound design that accompanies it is just soooo good.
I’m too wimpy to play horror games properly but I love getting to see moments like this through videos like this!

I can't see the end of the horizon-- HATSUNE MIKU?????

Ozempic takes another bear from us 😭

Despite FNAF 1 Remake ending Buddy’s monologue with a joke, I still feel like it’s worth experiencing Buddy’s speech and taking it seriously. The sudden cut to memes and gags may have just been intent on subverting expectation and yanking you drastically from one polar emotion to the other to get a laugh.

I feel bad for Buddy… the extras after beating the game aren’t something I’ve seen before, and they’re so cool! It adds so much replay-ability and I don’t believe others I’ve seen play Remake have found it!

I’m glad Oatmeal broke into 3d, I trust them with my life.

No clue what you're talking about, all i see is an average Five Night's At Freddy's Experience

Like.... Yeah, I know that's FNAF 1 Remake is an "april fools joke" (quotations, because I'm not sure I buy that fully), and most people don't take it seriously. But like.... I think they should. Death of the author is very much a thing, and there's a lot of bittersweet sincerity that can be read from that ending, and the game in general. It hits some real notes about a cycle we all have found ourselves in once or twice; the desire to be able to re-xperience something you love from the beginning, all over again. There's just something magical about that first time with a beloved piece of media. That's why FNAF fangames exist - imo, at least. We all just want to do it over again, but it's doomed to never quite hit the same way. Nothing can replace that or truly recreate it, and it's a futile quest that we're drawn to by our very nature and instincts.
And that's not to mention that it hits a hell of a chord if you're a creator of, well, anything. As an artist, all I really want is for other people to enjoy and experience the things I create. And I know a lot of people are the same; it's good to create for yourself,  but one of the best parts of making something is sharing it. But.... It'll never be perfect. Even if you go to painstaking lengths, there's always going to be something not right about it. Like... even your most cherished beloved creations will eventually grow so old and distant from your more recent works that they'll pale in comparison.
But... I think that's ok. It's natural, and it's something you can find real joy in if you try. You can always revisit, and remember; like a gallery in your mind. You'll never fully experience it again, but you can always cherish it, and find joy in it. Basically... I find a lot of hidden and deeply sincere truths in what is supposed to be a "joke". And the game itself reads a whole awful lot like... Well, something Dave Strider would have made. Something he felt genuine feelings about, but had to bury it all under a layer or irony so he wouldn't seem "uncool". Because gods forbid you care about something you like, amiright?

TL;DR - Enjoy the things you enjoy fully, and don't let others views of your passions cloud them. Also, enjoy the past, without getting obsessed over recapturing it. It's there for you to look at think about, but you have to keep moving forward.

FNAF 1 Remake is nothing short of a masterpiece for me, and I don’t care if it’s an April fools joke. The way it emulates the ransomware aesthetic but turns it into a distorted nostalgia of a beloved game you’re slowly forgetting, and how the game itself is trying to pull you back just so you’ll play with it again, just so you’ll be yourself again. But you’re not yourself. Not in the way Buddy wants. You’ve grown. And yet Buddy hasn’t. And this hurts him. And it makes him want to hurt you. And by the end, he realizes this. And all he can do is apologize as he is, once again, forgotten. Nostalgia is a disease, it blinds you with rose tinted glasses and pulls your mind to a time when you were happier, and makes you assume that the things back then were good because you were happier, and the things right now are bad because you’re sad. But it was never the things you miss that made you happy. It was your innocence. Your child-like glee. That was what made you happy. Ironically, Jacksepticeye put it the best: “You don’t miss how things were back then, you miss how you felt.”
And the designs, how they’re made to be obviously scarier than any real life animatronic could be, but not to the point of looking so scary they stop being scary (I can’t make myself clearer than that HAHAHAHAH), how they’re the same, but different, like how you would try to draw them from memory after years of not even thinking about them.
And the gameplay, how it takes the FNAF 1 gameplay and twists it, again, like you are misremembering things because of how long it’s been. What especially calls this to attention to me is Foxy, or Oxy Pirate in this game. In FNAF 1, you just have to have your camera up to stall Foxy, although the game implies that you have to be looking at him. In FNAF 1 Remake, to stall him, you HAVE to be looking at him in the cameras. It’s genius.
Also I’m amazed that you did the voice of Buddy for this video, I genuinely couldn’t tell it was you!

This video reminds me of an idea I had a long time ago for a fake anti-piracy gimmick for Fnaf. Game would play as normal, but the animatronics would never leave their spots, and show no sign of being alive at all. Al haunting effects would be gone too, rendering the game an actual boring night guard job. The power could also never hit zero so you can't die that way either. This would stay the same for all nights until you're paid at the end of night five, where the game will now say 'Maybe you can use that money on a legal copy of the game?' before booting you back to the main menu.

I thought it would be a fun inversion on the fake scary anti-piracy videos going about at the time, where if the idea of them was to scare kids into paying, then one for an actual horror game should make the game a boring, unsatisfying slog so they don't try to pirate it for extra spooks!

I have dealt with real Ransomware like 2 years ago. Dear god it was the most stressful thing ever.

It honestly really bothers me that FNAF 1 Remake is an April Fool's joke.  Buddy is a hella interesting and surprisingly relatable character.  Haven't we all tried to recreate the magic of something that we once loved?  How many creatives have become desperate for people to enjoy their work when nobody would give them the time of day?  This game deserves genuine discussion, but it's never getting a seat at the table because it's all just an elaborate April Fool's joke.

I truly envy people who can make something honestly really good like the FNAF 1 Remake and still consider it as a joke/something they weren't serious about while making it lol

Glad my "The animatronics seem to be dashing across all of utah" theory from the comments section of Gavin's video made its way here in essence lmao
Also I did NOT expect a Vargskelethor Joel ref in this video, respect yo
