Pokemon Legends Z-A is here, and I'm so excited to destroy all of Paris. Modern Pokémon might look like it's from the PS2, but it's still good fun. I'd ask that you consider leaving a like or comment! I've got more Pokemon ZA coming soon, alongside another CloverPit video in the near future

Watching Le Ham waddle towards the enemy, destroy its essence with a single punch, and then merrily walk back to you is the peak of cinema

Immediately getting robbed as soon as you step foot into France shows how much love this team put into the game. They really did their research!

I like to think Le Papa's villain origin story is that his dad went out for milk and never came back, and he ended up resentful. But in reality their Dad was kidnapped by God and sent to the past

I think real life cities should have huge video ads playing where it's just some CEO going "welcome to our city, ever heard about Animals?"

Dan and Emboar seem like that dad who didn't want a dog, refused to allow his family to get a dog, they got on anyway and he ends up being the closest to the dog.

They even put in the anti-homless benches

I like how the Paris-themed Pokémon game has you jump and assault random passerby and their pets in the dead of night, get robbed less than 10 minutes after arriving, and hunt wild animals that are living in overgrown sectioned-off areas of the city that people presumably also live and work in. Also the only thing more absurd than the existence of these Anarchy zones is the presence of a group who wants to abolish said anarchy zones and just let all the wild animals roam free all over the city.

10/10, truly accurate to the real Paris experience

I love the implication that you're just on a trip to Paris and you just end up getting perennially sidetracked into saving the city, immediately abandoning all ideas of what you were originally there for or where you may have to return to

The true horror of this game is that there is a mysterious force physically preventing you from leaving France and you only dream about leaving

Imagine being a kid hanging out with your pokemon, and all of a sudden a giant pig man comes crashing down out of nowhere, leaving only a charred crater where your Bunnelby used to be. And while processing this, a cyberpunk edgelord walks up and goes "I believe you owe me 50 bucks now."

Sorry, you can’t go this way, there’s a power outage in Lumiose City

As it turns out, the Wild Zones are the latest strategy the government found to stop people from going on strikes, as it becomes a lot harder to make demonstrations in Paris when every other street is filled with monsters!

@UFOhuzzah 11 months ago

pokemon dives into horror by creating a game which traps you in paris, france forever

@praimi13 11 months ago

You get attacked by pokemon at day, then you get attacked by people at night

Truly the french experience

“I’m probably going to abandon Tepig, it’s not his chance in the spotlight”, RT then makes him the strongest on the team

"The Father" actually goes so hard as a mob boss name

@jonaut5705 11 months ago

i love how the entire city is ostensibly owned by the big corporation, making it the kalos equivalent of that town disney wanted to make

So, for those who are only experiencing the game through these highlights: Anyone who reaches Rank A will have one wish granted (as long as it's a reasonable wish). That said...
I'm a little disappointed about you skipping over how Zach, the Glass Joe of the Z-A Royale, wants to reach Rank A in order to abolish all forms of transportation other than taxis.
