What was your favorite moment during the performance?🤩

People keep bitching they're too loud and noisy so they brought their loudest song for this performance - it was all a fuck you to the MAMA's who repeatedly overlooked them and other JYP acts for awards (the boys only winning fan votes for eight years).

That's why it was a shock when they did win Album of the year after this because we didn't expect it.

Well to be fair, it says HIP HIP ver. and not HIP HOP and it was Seungmin who has a foot inflammation besides Lee Know hurting his ankle backstage before Divine. They tore the venue down and made sure everyone knows who they are. Also the "Kpop Champion" intro is them naming themselves that, just to make sure in fear of not getting a MAMA Daesang again, getting snubbed every year before this

38:16 They didn’t get the award until after the performance. This was essentially them daring the MAMAs to not give them the Daesang. They’ve gotten screwed over so many times at the MAMAs. There’s a lot of history and controversy there, and not just with SKZ.

All of SKZ’s MAMA’s performances have been some level of FU, but this one was next level. They threw a concert, brought all the Step Kids (their backup dancers), tossed in a little news break in there flexing with a famous actor and bringing receipts of how they earned that award.

Seungmin had an injured foot from the week before.  Lee Know sprained his ankle before Divine and then left it all on the floor like the consummate professional he is.

Stray Kids brought their own band. It’s the same band that went on tour with them.

They won 6 daesangs this year but it’s their first mama and also first mama from a jyp male group this decade

Y’all should watch more of their performances, straykids have the most strongest stage presence in K-pop industry…

They have now 8 albums n1 on billbord after do it this week

the ones that were hurt are Seungmin (was previously injured, he even went to the hospital and all) he was limping a little and Lee know he got injured in the middle of the performance he was limping badly but still danced the dance break and all, he came back in a wheelchair and diagnosed with a sprained ankle

mama awards are kinda known for being unfair to jype artists (stray kids' label) like their junior group, kickflip, was being mistreated on mama day 1 performing 6 times for free. stray kids been snubbed of their daesang for years especially on 2023 so this aoty award was definitely super meaningful for them and stays. above all, the reason why i love stray kids the most is because no matter how far they've reached in their career, they still have that same passion and humbleness of their pre-debut days. for example in the acceptance speech, chan thanked senior artists that paved the way so that they can make the musics they love. truly what a great year for skz <3

The award was after the performance.

It was the Hip Hip versions and not Hip Hop. It was an skz concert rather than a MAMA awards 😂

Lee Know’s leg sprained, Seugmin is still recovering from leg injury and Felix from his back injury.

The intro announcing Stray Kids and the video in the middle about their achievements were all created by them and not by MAMA. They prepare their stages and props, everything. The intro was the one they used in their DominAte Tour concerts.
Stray Kids write, compose, and produce their own music even before debuting because the 3 Racha (Bang Chan, Han, Changbin) joined together before forming Stray Kids (chosen by Bang Chan). Bang Chan is the 2nd most credited idol on Komca with 234 songs, and Han and Changbin are also close to 200 songs and in the top 10. They have been self-producers since their debut. And that's why this MAMA was also so important for them; the albums all have the hands of the 3 Racha.

Not to be that person lol, but Stray Kids have been making their own beats since before they debuted. Day 1. They write and produce their own music. They've always been about creating their own sound that didnt always fit into the KPop box. Also the 7 consecutive #1 albums (now 8!) on Billboard, they're the first and only artist to do it in the entire history of Billboard. Not MJ, Beyoncé, Taylor, Beatles, or anybody else has done it.

It was Seungmin and Lee Know that was injured. Seungmin injured his foot during their comeback stage promoting the DoIt album a week before and was still recovering and Lee know sprained his ankle at the Mama awards show

That version of Ceremony was spectacular💥🤌🏼

Eight now number ones on US Billboard top 200

Their live performances are always so hype. So glad they picked this one to perform (available as Ceremony Hip Hip ver for those interested) cause it was so fucking hype. They've been doing multiple versions of their title tracks these past few comebacks.

My personal theory is because they're headlining Rock in Rio in sept 2026 (might i do a lil parasocial brag and say First ever Kpop group in history to btw)

Felix’s stage presence, vocals, visuals and AURA are just incredible..   The man is iconic ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
