I don’t think we will ever have a game with as much motion as Wii sports. We had literally everyone playing it, parents, even grandparents were getting in on it. People who have never touched video games before were playing Wii sports. Genuinely I don’t think anything like this will happen again

I was a bit mentally overwhelmed/exhausted before watching this video. When I saw Wii Sports Resorts makes me so happy and nostalgic, I actually feel a bit better.

i always had wii sports club as a kid but never figured out how to buy the passes so i thought it was just a useless menu LMAO

The wii i would say is like one of the foundational core “things” from my childhood as a kid who barely played any games my family always played so much tennis and bowling and wii fit as well

Wii tennis was wild to play with my cousins. There would be 4 of us to play, but at the character selection to choose teams we would wildly click on sides of the court and attempt to make every single mii player ourselves. Whoever made it on the board after 5-10 seconds of chaotic character position clicking got to play the round. The results would be crazy. Not everyone got to play sometimes due to getting multiple positions on the board. Sometimes you'd be playing against yourself lol. I remember fondly of one of my cousins rapidly making the full court themselves and pressing a game. We all laughed watching them try to keep up with themselves for a round before restarting 😂

I was born the same year Wii Sports was made, I’m now turning twenty, having only played the original Wii Sports because my Wii was a hand me down from my grandfather
