Nicely done!. I just did a second 5 inch cabinet with drawer front as a door using your other tutorial to reduce big gap for filler. I still have some small fillers to do but need to learn how to. Finition work takes time.

Amazing timing. Just about to install a kitchen of my own and I was trying to figure out what to do to finish off a run of cabinets with a stove on the end. A 5" cabinet next to the stove with a cover panel facing out will be perfect to tie everything together.

I love your videos, they were such a help when I was installing my kitchen, couldn't have done it without them.

I just made this cabinet to fill the space between my oven and fridge and I love it! It's great for my baking trays, cutting boards etc, that would otherwise have taken away a whole drawer space!

I would suggest adding the parts to click in the hinges before screwing the second side on the cabinet. it is hard to screw then in afterwards because of the limited space.

Thanks again for all the videos, they are life savers! (or at the very minimum kitchen savers 😀)

Love this! If I faced a similar space, I think I'd try pop-out draws for the lower two.I wouldn't expect an installer to go that far, though. Mouths to feed, etc 🙂

Wow - great timing. I have a very similar issue where a 60cm wide base cabinet is too big, by 2cm, and the next size down - a 40cm cabinet leaves a large gap of emptiness. I'm going to look into doing what you did here to see if this is a better outcome than a great big filler panel, Thank you very much!

I’m scratching my head about a cabinet 24 inches deep and only 5 inches wide - i do get sliding in baking sheets but how many do people have ? It seems to me that there is a great rusk in many items getting shoved further back and becoming inconvenient/impossible to reach - especially on the upper shelf. A strip of LED lighting in each shelf might also be a good idea as i imagine a 5 inch wide 24inch deep cabinet is fairly dark inside with the owner blocking light as they hunt for items that have migrated to the back. Certainly smart to think of how to maximize storage and reduce waste like paying for useless and unnecessary filler boards but if I absolutely had to have that sink centred I’d opt for a custom width pantry cupboard or a wider sink base allowing a centred sink but also the ability to shove those cabinets to the left.
