Kyomaru Village: 【
This concludes our Shizuoka series.
We visited three villages, focusing on the legend of the Kyomaru peony. What did you think?
This time, we visited Omata, which is also the ancestral home of the old woman we met in Ishikiri.
Tracing her roots, we find that her ancestors were also from the Fujiwara family.
It seems that this region cannot be discussed without mentioning the Fujiwara family.
Currently, most of the Omata village is buried under mud and debris, and the situation seems to be worsening year by year.
If this continues, it may one day completely disappear, becoming a truly legendary village.
We hope that the footage we left behind will serve as an opportunity for future generations to learn about the existence of this village.
