------------

In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Mark and Nish getting second and first because everyone else got disqualified - joyously hugging and cheering "this is our moment!" - will forever be one of my favorite taskmaster moments

Mark edited the wikipedia page for "machine" and got away with it. He earned it.

My favorite thing about Sally is the dignified look she gives to the camera after every tape we see of her acting completely out of her mind, gracefully nodding at her own insanity. I love this cast.

Cutting a nice-looking slice of bread from a book is the most impressive thing I've ever seen.

"A little trick called 'paying 400 pounds'"

Or what we like to call, doing an Al Murray

13:59 Wikipedia was edited on 20 September 2017 @ 20:27, adding the sentence, " machines can be any type of computers, phones, radios and hats. " at the end of the Simple Machines paragraph.
Wikipedia was again edited 3 minutes later at 20:30 with the following edit comment: "I changed it to make taskmaster awesome!" This edit inexplicably added one word, "hats" to the "Modern Machines" paragraph.
2 minutes later, it was edited again @ 20:32 with the following edit comment: "I changed it to make it correct." This change - still in the "Modern Machines" paragraph - changed, "...robots, radios and hats." to "...robots and hats."
At 20:35, the bogus "corrections" were reverted back to the latest unadulterated version by wiki editor "Ammarpad" with the edit comment being, "Reverted to most stable version after series of disruption/vandalism."

I love Greg goes from "Rules are rules" to "It's just a game innit?". He knows exactly how to make it entertaining.

Mark and Nish's "This is our moment!" really has the same energy as that guy winning an Olympic speed skating event because everyone else fell down.

insanely, us lesbians actually do tend to want to impress our girlfriends with our strength, so she actually got that part correct

I'm a simple lesbian living in the late Victorian era...when, while strolling down the promenade with my lady companion, I see a Test Your Strength apparatus, I do not hesitate to show off my physical prowess in an attempt to win her a shiny prize.

When Nish and Mark said, "this is our moment!" I was legitmately cheering.

"I saw the woman whose house, first house, we'd painted. She said it would never need painting since, because it fucking burned down." I wonder if John Caramel and Ron Waffle reported on the fire in the Middlesbrough Gazette.

I think “There is a loaf of bread in the lab” just became the new “Without moving the fishbowls.”

I love it when Alex introduces a task and one of the comics says, “Oh, no,” and drops their head. You know it’s going to be good.

This goes without saying, but this show is doing an incredible service by putting these out for free for anyone to watch. Doubly so during the Covid 19 pandemic when people are stuck at home.

Sally wakes up every day and chooses chaos

Love how the last tasks instructions were "Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral" and Bob paints an icecream cone. Weird they didnt notice.

This cast is who you need when you need to hide a body. Aisling, Mark and Nish to distract the authorities, Bob in-charge of providing an alibi and Sally to help with hiding the body.
