This is great, Evan. 👍I really enjoyed watching it.
This is just my opinion, but regarding the tail wagging (4:14): It has a strong leftward direction when wagging. Based only on this video - and combined with the dog's already high arousal - that leftward direction reveals Nitro's high tension. Not a great combination, for sure.

8:20 the timing here is crucial. You need to be faster to reinforce when he looks back at you, since you didn’t reinforce right away- he got confused and thought that by looking at your dog, he is shutting the continuous off, you must do better, otherwise you’re giving ammunition to these stupid hotdog trainers like k9 tay to make bad videos about e collars

I think I need to resort to this. My girl is a husky/shepherd mix so the hard core staring is intense. When we are far away, she knows to look back at me and she gets a treat. She stays calm and often times ignores them and turns away all on her own. But passing dogs? Absolutely out of question. She immediately goes over threshold and she no longer responds to her leash pressure. She is not aggressive, its all frustration reactivity. She's so smart, and can pick up things very quickly but she is almost 2 years old now and I cannot get over this hill.
