I did it again! 😂
It's my fifth year of decluttering, and I've done it countless times, but my food storage drawer is 100% full again!
"If prices are going up, I should buy it now."
"It's cheap, and I'll use it anyway."
"I'll buy a little extra for disaster preparedness."
That's how I end up buying things, and I find expired food, 10 cans of mackerel, and a whopping 24 cans of my beloved tuna! 😂
I took everything out, checked the expiration dates, and put everything back neatly.
I wonder how many times I've done this.
This autumn's reset festival isn't just about tidying up storage; I've also made everything—food and daily necessities—in my inventory visible.
I even used AI to create a list of my stock.
Recalling what my storage-savvy friend M taught me last time, I'm also reviewing and improving storage solutions using the storage cases I have at home.
But it's not just about reducing things.
I also want to be prepared for disasters.
The peace of mind of knowing "this is enough" is better than the peace of mind of having a lot.
From now on, I'll try to find the "just right amount" for my family while using up the stock I currently have.
I wonder how many months it will take for this stock to run out? 🤣
How much food and daily necessities do you all stock up on?
Do you keep a separate supply for disaster preparedness? Or do you use it regularly and practice rolling stock?
"We buy too much too!"
"I have this much!" Please let me know in the comments section.
I'd love to learn about everyone's stock situations for reference 😊
