3:07 Vocal Slides. Vibrations on hard palate 3:58 connecting breath to our voice and starting warm up and most importantly, finding right placement where it feels comfortable. Do it on all vowels: Ho, Ha, etc. Taking your time

4:30 Vibrato. Starting to stretch because we’re sliding up and down. We’re practicing our breath support cause we’re connecting. We’re warming up our voice, we’re doing a lot all at once.
No need to go really high or low. Go with whatever is easy on your range

5:24 Lip bubbling. 5:36. Keeps your lips relaxed. If it stops you’ll know you’re tensing your voice in that particular range. So you want to be able to go up and down your entire range without it stopping
6:02 Go ad high was you possibly can. 6:21 Middle voice = passaggio. 6;32 Go smoothly into that voice so you go all the way up without a break. 6:35 Part of what can make it smoother is if you start a little quieter. So you start on a low note, very quiet, and then keep it light and easy as you go up into your upper voice. 6:45

7:50 Squeaky Door. Blend the voices together. Think of it right in the center of the head, right in the middle of your head like you’re creating the sound there 8:12 pattern 8:37. 9:10 When you start getting to the higher note think a little thinner, a little bit more narrow. 9:49 Now half squeaky half normal

10:23 A short warm up is 15-20 min. Long 30-40min

once, I sang for an hour on end without warming up or even getting myself some water and I woke up with a sore throat the next morning 😨 never again (he says, bound to do it again) (hopefully not as often though lmao)
