Some people aren’t ready to handle large amounts of money. Just because you are paid more doesn’t mean you need to spend as equally. Ridiculous

When i got my business license, the person doing my paperwork asked if I was opening a store. I said nope, I do farmer's markets and vendor events. Eventually a food truck. I know my limitations they laughed, I just need a few employees and my peace.

I think another issue we see with a lot of these black owned establishments is that a lot of people are going into this industry without having any type of previous restaurant experience whatsoever and it shows. We are also seeing too many places making vibes and aesthetics their main focus, when it should be on the food and service.

Pinky and other businesses like her are a little more worried about how they look to others on social media and trying to live a lavish lifestyle to say they have it, instead of just focusing on the business. It's okay to live your life but do it within your means, and don't do things to try to show that your bigger than you are for outside looks.

I made a reservation at a black-owned restaurant back home in Chicago for my birthday, and it was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I made a reservation for 9 o'clock, and my table for my party and me was not ready. There were 5 other parties ahead of us, and we waited a little over an hour before we left. If I make a reservation, the table should be ready when I arrive. Additionally, the hostess was visibly drunk, and my party and I never got an apology or anything. I don't care if you are black-owned; if your service is horrible, I refuse to support, and I will get better service elsewhere.

Pinky had a good thing going. She could have kept the food truck and one location maybe added the LA location(ppl in LA eat vegan regularly)

1. They do too much too fast 2. They don’t know how to manage money 3. They don’t know how to own a business 4. They hire ppl who don’t know finances, never handled large money, and don’t know how to manage to do those listed things
