Hey Kevin what an informative video. Thank you for sharing the tools of you trade. I look forward to you trying to get rid of the erasure marks on my ASM 129. Maybe make a video for all of us to see a before and after. Keep up the great content and the great work you do cleaning and pressing our books. Also super happy I won your contest.

Just a tip but I use a see through eraser shield it is easier to work with. you can line it up easier and it saves time.I make my own out of plastic sand blast shields.Allows me to see what I am trying to avoid erasing.I have also went to a super soft old style school eraser as it doe's not grab at older paper as hard which can lead to tears at soft corners..loved your video hoping to have you do a few spine rolls for me..I am amazed at your spine roll work. all the best Kevin great vid.

Awesome! And... what do you use to humidify 🧐? Lol. 🙂

Great stuff Kevin! I just looked up everything you mentioned in the video and all this stuff can be had in the U.S. from Amazon for about $50 total, depending on quantity. Chem sponges are the most expensive item you mentioned. I assume you use a sharp X-acto knife or maybe scissors to keep cutting these down to expose new clean areas?

Another fantastic video, just missed the accidental live stream by a little. Some great tools you use and fantastic information. Was wondering what you use for more complicated things like possible finger prints, stains/ water stains or even Sun shadowing if thats even possible. Just curious. Keep up the hard work.
