Hey Don! I have lived for about 4 years in Karachi and currently in Germany. If you guys are worried about food poisoning or just getting your stomach upset in general, you can always find the same street style food at much hygienic places like Chai Chatt. There you can find Cheese paratha, samosay and much more.

and one place I would personally recommend to you for breakfast is TOOSO, DHA branch in Karachi . There you can find yourself Halwa puri and pakistani Chai. It is one of the best authentic Pakistani breakfast you must try!

Another thing I would highly recommend is the combination of Tikka and puri paratha from 7 star, Boat Basin, Karachi and Chicken Makhni Handi at Kolachi Restaurant, Karachi

just wanted to clarify a few things.
1: The rikshaw driver didn't overcharge. the local drivers usually go by these rates as the petrol prices are touching skies in pakistan.
2: The shop from where you got cheese paratha looked like a very local one therefore they were using that much oil and looked unhygienic. try a famous one other time.
3: Our prophet (pbuh) used to do fasting twice a week for healthy reasons as u talked in your video. so as muslims it is our belief and we try to practice the teachings of our prophet.

17:00 when u first sat on the rickshaw he underestimated the journey. When he realised where it was he charged the right amount. Fuel prices have doubled in pakistan.
