Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*coughcoughCOUGHcough*eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze*.

1981 was a tough year...

You knew it was always Gunda be bad, in the end.

Thank you for referring the Lord of the Rings Online. Azanulbizar is a different chapter you can actually play till the end. Gundabad also is a whole expansion and personally the most epic of all, even from Moria. The developers made such an effort to put everything into this game and I have to tell you, it’s freakin’ worth every penny of it!!

Exceptional video!  I absolutely LOVE that you used story elements from Lord of the Rings Online to fill the gaps.  I have played that game for the last 18 years and specifically have a clear memory of the epic storyline(s) you discussed here.  I was actually brought to tears playing through these stories.  LOTRO's "loremasters" are extremely dedicated and loving in their handling of Tolkien's lore.  Thank you for your excellent handling of the material!

I’d love to see a history of all the wizard’s staffs!  Is there any origin to them?  Ty for another great vid!

What's the music playing in the background?  That's some good Dwarf ambiance.  Oh, and excellent video as always.

What's inside Mount Gundabad? Simple answer really :) some old dwarven hall since in the Tolkien texts it was in the cavern beneath the Mount Gundabad Durin awoke and later the Dwarves of all seven kindreds were holding great gatherings..so they would have build a mansion or hall there....later it turned into the orc stronghold, potentially the largest of them their 'capital' so it would be adapted into the labyrinth of orc tunnels and caverns they would adapt and shape and delve their own spaces there as well as occupying what was already there.

"In the Dwarvish traditions of the Third Age the names of the places where each of the Seven Ancestors had ‘awakened’ were remembered; but only two of them were known to Elves and Men of the West: the most westerly, the awakening place of the ancestors of the Firebeards and the Broadbeams; and that of the ancestor of the Longbeards,(24) the eldest in making and awakening. The first had been in the north of the Ered Lindon, the great eastern wall of Beleriand, of which the Blue Mountains of the Second and later ages were the remnant; the second had been Mount Gundabad (in origin a Khuzdul name), which was therefore revered by the Dwarves, and its occupation in the Third Age by the Orks of Sauron was one of the chief reasons for their great hatred of the Orks.(25) The other two places were eastward, at distances as great or greater than that between the Blue Mountains and Gundabad: the arising of the Ironfists and Stiffbeards, and that of the Blacklocks and Stonefoots. Though these four points were far sundered the Dwarves of different kindreds were in communication, and in the early ages often held assemblies of delegates at Mount Gundabad. In times of great need even the most distant would send help to any of their people; as was the case in the great War against the Orks (Third Age 2793 to 2799). Though they were loth to migrate and make homes, except under great pressure from enemies or after some catastrophe such as the ruin of Beleriand, they were great and hardy travellers and skilled road-makers; also, all the kindreds shared a common language."

Amazing, thank you so much for your analysis and atmosphere, I'm enjoying every video of yours

AMAZING tale, great source references: JRRT & Fan Based

Excellent video

Dwarves: lets name our places evil sounding names then noone will want to take them. Orks: Ponyville or Gundabad? Of course.

He didnt put them to sleep right away, he was forced to by Eru, and stated to Aule that he did not have that authority, so in order for Aule to keep his "pets" he was forced to put them to sleep until the other children of Eru awoke (the elves).

Making it seem like they were put to sleep by design is how lore becomes broken.  People will take what is said, vs what has been established and believe it.

WOW WOW WOW…. What a video…. It got me really into it. The graphics and the description it was amazing…. Great job.

there was no mistrust between dwarves and elves at Eregion; the mistrust comes from the Sack of Doriath in the First Age

Every lore videos be like:

In the beginning of time before time
