Ragusa surprised us in a way we did not expect.

We came here expecting a video mostly about Sicilian Baroque architecture and history, but what stayed with us most in the end was the atmosphere of the city itself. The artisan shops, ceramics, paintings, cafes, hidden streets and creative energy gave Ragusa a completely different feeling from anywhere else we have visited in Sicily so far 🎨

In this video, we explore Ragusa Ibla, Giardino Ibleo, Marina di Ragusa and the artistic side of one of Sicily’s most fascinating cities. We also visit the incredible “Sicily in Decay” photography exhibition by Carlo Arancio, which ended up shaping the mood of our entire day there 📸

Ragusa nás překvapila způsobem, který jsme vůbec nečekali.

Přijeli jsme sem s tím, že video bude hlavně o sicilském baroku a historii, ale nakonec nám nejvíce utkvěla v hlavě samotná atmosféra města. Řemeslné obchůdky, keramika, obrazy, kavárny, skryté uličky a kreativní energie dodaly Raguze úplně jiný pocit než jakékoliv jiné místo na Sicílii, které jsme zatím navštívili 🎨

V tomto videu objevujeme Ragusa Ibla, Giardino Ibleo, Marina di Ragusa a uměleckou stránku jednoho z nejzajímavějších měst na Sicílii. Navštívili jsme také úžasnou fotografickou výstavu „Sicily in Decay“ od Carla Arancia, která nakonec ovlivnila atmosféru celého našeho dne 📸
