For the very small people complaining about pausing the video… YouTube rules are if you upload content without adapting it under ‘fair use’ then the video will most likely be taken down and removed from my channel. So reaction videos do mean pausing to share your thoughts because if I just played the whole video without stopping it’s just pure copyright infringement 🙌 thanks to everyone else who understands and enjoyed the video 🤘🏻 🎸

3 best friends redefined music interpretation and created their own genre. Rush is simple rush.

For a drummer not to comment about arguably the best rock drummer ever, caught me off guard

More RUSH! Just be aware that the band had several “eras” in their 40-year-plus main career. They started off as Canada’s answer to Led Zeppelin and The Who, then added drummer Neil Peart and they went off in a prog-rock direction with 10-15 minute long songs. At the 1980s, they tried to make prog rock but shorter and were simultaneously influenced by New Wave as they added a lot of keyboards. Towards the end of their career they returned to more of their rock roots. Neil Peart passed away in 2020. Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson did small projects and guest appearances, but have eventually decided to re-form and go on tour later this year with new drummer Anika Nilles.

3 absolute virtuoso's in the same band, with one of the top 3 bass players in the world, arguably the greatest rock drummer ever, and a guitarist who is absolutely the most under-rated....ever. As always, RIP to "The Professor".

This is a great band, and they are not quite like anyone else. They are masters at their instruments, but they don't get aimlessly jammy. Even though they're categorized usually as a hard rock band, their music is always conceptual first, and they organize the music and how they play their instruments to somehow embellish the song's themes, emotions, or tone. Its quite remarkable when you listen to songs over and over and pick up on little details in parts and realize how they paint the picture of the song with sounds. The drummer writes the lyrics which adds a twist when you realize the singer /bassist is translating a philosophically minded non-singer's thoughts to melody.
