The Wall Movie Reaction Over On Our Second Channel ! Don't Forget To Subscribe ❤

72 year old here. Great job on this one. This album was light years ahead of its time and never, ever gets old. After over 50 years, it still holds up as a masterpiece.

Imagine recording and producing this album in 1972. All analog instruments and effects recorded on magnetic tape. Not a single digital note or effect. Not a single computer used. No MIDI, no autotune. None of that existed yet. Yet it still sounds ahead of not only its own time, but ours as well, over 50 years later. Unbelievable. I bought this album on vinyl LP the day it was released in March 1973. I was a senior in high school. I've listened to every detail of it dozens if not hundreds of times. Now I'm a senior in life lol. 52 years later this album still thrills and dazzles me every time. This was one of the best reactions to it that I've ever seen, and I've seen plenty of them. You're a very perceptive young man. You get it. Thanks so much for giving an old man the pleasure of watching you discover and appreciate one of the greatest treasures that has ever come my way. It's reassuring to know that it will continue to be loved and treasured long after I'm gone. If you're interested, the album was performed in full live on stage at the 1994 Pulse concert -- possibly the greatest live rock concert ever performed. Every track from that concert is an absolute mind-blowing experience. Be sure to check it out.

bro listened all the way up until the final heartbeat. Respect

You set the standard for reaction video presentation my brotha. Great articulation and serious detail to the understanding of the lyrics.

The Great Gig In The Sky was about raging at the thought of dying then gradually accepting your fate.it's so emotional.

The engineer for this record was Alan Parsons. He also put out 11 studio albums. My favourite being I Robot. Check him out.

In 200 years, if we're still around, people will speak of Pink Floyd the way we speak of Bach or Mozart today.

Fantastic reaction. You really respected the music and the meaning. Keep up the excellent work.

Best reactor out there. You seriously break down albums the way a reaction should be, not just playing the album to get views, but really taking it all in and breaking it down to how it feels to you, i appreciate your vids!

Young man, your wisdom is deep.  As I have aged, Great Gig has become more about the loves I have lost over the years and accepting their loss.  My father has been gone almost 50 yeas, my mother over 20, my oldest sister 17, and my wife of 34 years has been gone 4.  Every love ends in grief, this song is, to me, about letting that grief out.

As a life long Pink Floyd fan, you are doing just fine man. Do what you do.

Listen to it 100 times, and you will still be discovering new things!

Most bands are happy to have their album on the Billboard Top LP chart for a couple of weeks. Dark Side of the Moon topped the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart for 990 weeks (yes, almost a thousand weeks).

This might be the best first-listen take of DSotM that I've ever heard.  You keep making spot-on commentary.

In all my years this is the first time I've heard someone so young who got that level of understanding of the lyrics. If you look at the synthesizers we have today versus the ones they used in 1972, you really have to respect the craftmanship it took to produce such a masterpiece. Me, I have it easy. Modern pedal board for my guitars, three keyboard synthesizers, drum machine. Wish I had the talent they have.

Thank you for doing this reaction and thank you for thinking about pauses and guitar solos...thank you so much

When released this album spent 18 years on the billboard top 100 album charts...

I grew up with this music. We were indeed a generation that heard music as a total listening experience that sought to understand the message. I must say, I am astounded at how spot-on your observations are. Keep your mind open and it will serve you well. - PEACE!!

Your interpretation of Great Gig In The Sky was great. The song is about the five stages of death ending in acceptance. Great review!
