I test the new 2026 KOVE 625X Pro, a 581cc, 62.5hp adventure bike that comes with a ton of equipment, ADAS technology, and a restricted version for A2 license holders.

But one detail stands out: its 221 kg (585 lbs) ready to ride. It's heavier than the KOVE 800X Pro, despite having considerably less power. So, in this presentation, I'll see where those extra kilos are, how noticeable they really are, and whether they make sense on a KOVE that's much more touring-oriented and versatile.

I test it over about 180 km (100 miles) of road to evaluate the engine, handling, weight distribution, brakes, suspension, comfort, aerodynamic protection, and all the electronics it incorporates.

And, above all, I'm putting it in context against some of its direct rivals, such as the Voge 625DSX, Benelli TRK 702, Moto Morini X-Cape 700, or CFMOTO 700MT, because when they all have such similar power and price figures, choosing isn't easy.
