You can probably get better news from a German satirical show than from FOX.

honestly, reaching a young American with this stuff would probably make him really happy.

I hope Olli Welke invites you to his show!

Rutte is not a german, but chief of NATO and former dutch prime minister.

I love heute show... he says what I always think... exactly my humor. Also the Extra3 Show 👍😎

The archbishop of Munich is really Cardinal Marx. That’s his last name. ;)

He is fighting against the Vatican because he blesses LGBT marriages, he is a good guy.

Great video as always! You are such a refreshingly grounded person with good opinions. People like you should be the future of the USA.
Greetings from Bavaria. ✌🏻

hehe, in der Heute Show werden mehr wahre Nachrichten über die USA gebracht als in den meisten US-Medien zusammen ;)

7:12 white asparagus. between late april and late june (spargelsaison) it's one of the most popular vegetables in Germany. there's a whole culture around it

You are awesome man !!!! Hello from Germany 🇩🇪

18:36 That's not the Pope (Really??), that's the archbishop of Munich Reinhard Cardinal Marx, who used to lead Catholic bishops in Germany some yeaars ago.

Ich finde es verstörend, dass man ihm ein Mainzelmännchen aushändigen will!!!! UNSER MAINZELMÄNNCHEN!!

Oliver Welke has been the only host of heute show ever since its debut in 2009, luckily.

I’m an Aussie and I couldn’t stop laughing. Not just a little snicker but laughing so hard I had to pause. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Joel, you deserve to be the special guest on the heute show one day! 😊

Thanks for this really cool reaction! 🙂 - Enjoyed it much! 😄
... hope all the best for all of you over there in the US.

3:56  "Heute-show doesn't even need to be satire.  What we're seeing in real life is a satire."  This has been a complaint of political satirists for some time.  Some people have gone so far as to say that satire is dead, because reality is now so extreme that it's unsatirizable.

7:30 it‘s currently White Asparagus Season in Germany, a vegetable the Germans are really proud of. So proud that certain regions crown an Asparagus Queen (usually going to a pretty young woman, but of course a totally useless award.) The heute Show awarded that to DJT as well…

Funny to see that US guys are watching German TV Satire while we love watching the "Daily show" and Kimmel etc..

I love the Heute Show. But I love your reactions almost even more. I hope Oliver Welke sees you and that you’ll be a guest on his show one day.
