Thank you for watching today! 🙇🏻♀️
This is Yuzu, a housewife in her late 30s/early 40s.
Today, I talked about what happened when my part-time job asked me to reduce my shifts next month.
I've been working hard at my part-time job, barely making ends meet within the income limit for dependents, hoping to supplement my living expenses.
But suddenly, I was told that they're "too busy" and my shifts will be cut starting next month.
I understand that the company has its reasons.
But I have my own life to live.
Food, utilities, my children's school expenses, extracurricular activities, daily necessities...
It really hurts to have my part-time income reduced when I'm already barely making ends meet each month.
Should I continue working at my current job?
Should I look for a second job or a one-off part-time job?
Or should I try to become a full-time employee again?
I failed a full-time job interview before, so I'm having trouble moving forward.
This time, I'm sharing the honest feelings of a 40-something housewife who's seriously worried about her next month's salary and living expenses after her part-time shifts were reduced.
If you've had a similar experience with reduced part-time shifts,
are struggling to adjust your income while working just enough to stay within the dependent allowance limit, or are considering aiming for full-time employment from part-time, please let me know in the comments.
Thank you for listening today.

私も同じ目にあったことがありますが、しばらく様子みても状況は変わらずでした。
なので、退職しました。
