After bailing last time I tried dispersed camping on this road, I felt like I needed to return. I'm so glad I did, this was a lovely night with no fear whatsoever. I had my dog, Toby, to keep me company and he made me feel super safe and cozy.

Tip for splitting with a hatchet .. kneel to make your body closer to the ground. A good mat to rest your knees on is a must!
