Another wonderful video of lovely maiko. I recognize them but can't recall their names, the 2 maiko on our right (their left) are the most senior. The one in pale lavender is named Ichiyuu of Pontocho I think? I remember when she had braces, she sometimes still wears her retainer when performing. Umehina is in the darker blue with orange obi i think.

Thanks Dave! Loved it. I can't understand them allowing all the beeps and flashes from the photographers though. That was very distracting. It would have been so easy for them to insist on no beeps or flashes.

It's a shame so many are using flash cameras.
