So you flew in Flight Simulator 2024 a couple of weeks ago but you had to uninstall because of the bugs, inconsistency or difficulty of the Career Mode. Don't worry, you are not alone.
Maybe it's time to give it a second chance. Let's go captain.

What pisses me off the most and finally made me rage quit was landing my pc-12 on a grass strip after a real time flight with a 72k headwind the whole way and no errors, was like 4 hours...the landing was perfect, but some pothole while taxiing "crashed" my plane by damaging the landing gear, lost 1M credits and 4 hours of real time, and a 100k landing gear repair bill. Fuck this, I yelled.

The Caravan pays 1 million per mission now in Medevac

THANK YOU!! Made tons. Couple hints.
1) you can click 'FIND ROUTE' in EFB above waypoints and it removes them all rather than doing one at a time.
2) Taxi can be a chore. If you must taxi, and the taxi path happens to be an active runway (eg., they have you go to the end and do a U-turn), there are ZERO penalties for speeding when taxiing on a runway... only the airport taxi paths.
Your tutorials are extraordinary! I'm on to perfecting my 737.

A tip for time acceleration: always turn on the stopwatch in the EFB. The clock will then always show in the map view, allowing you to more easily see the current sim rate bt watching the seconds tick.

Lost 4 planes thanks to random walls, trees, and a huge boulder on the runway

Important to note!! that the passive income is paid at midnight UTC, ONLY!!! if the game is not running!!!
So you need to find out when 23:30 to 00:30 UTC is in your local time and make certain your game is turned OFF!! at that time.
Then when you start the game AFTER 00:30 UTC, you will get a notification that your pilots have made you money.
Remember!, your pilots only fly when you fly!

i made my two engine certification and while landing, the game didnt tell you to extend your landing gears... - so I landed without extended gear, slipped into the green but succeeded the certification with A grade, while in the background the plane was sliding downside the grass xD - this shit is so bugged

Spawning in space with Cessna Grand Caravan was a great expiriance, because I messed up FL and skip travel, I'll never forget.

Glad to see I've done it mostly right so far, but my payouts are lower... maybe bc I turned off live weather, I don't know anyone that would actually fly a 172 to land in a 40kt crosswind on a 2000ft x 25ft runway

@aFrenchPilotInGA 1 year ago

Great intel! Just a few things, landing with a 172 is 65kt and leaning mixture above 3000' to reduce engine wear and also save on fuel!

@spiriter666 1 year ago

B737 payout is around 14-19 mil per run with high maintenance costs

Very well put together. A lighthearted but very informative video, even if I’m still running 2020 whilst keeping a watching brief on 2024 saga👍😎

The frozen screens after completing missions and having to restart game has become a normal process now 😂

@RassellDazzle 1 year ago

The 737 payout as a ceo is between 2million to 16 million depend how long the flight is and bad weather

@bigjezza08 1 year ago

Thank you for the effort that went into this, I restarted the career and am a millionaire now aha. I love the way you explain things, do not change anything in the way you talk or do these, they are perfection.

55 knots best landing speed! Thats why i had difficulties landing at 90 knots. 😅

Great tip on not getting tricked into buying the flight seeing company and going for the cargo company instead. I made that mistake and was making money too slowly, so I sold the 172 and bought the cargo company - way better at the $$$.

Thank's for your clues. This morning I flew a cargo mission but my airplane was in a huge hole in the middle of GA parking. I need first to pass my speleologist certification, to get in the plane 🤣🤣🤣

I love your video style! Very engaging.

Great video, just gotta clarify something, I found a extended fire fighting mission in Northern South America, comes next to an initial attack(it shows the triangle with different colored dots that indicates multiple missions, and the tanker does take off even with a full load, you just gotta know that you can't be scooping water before you're accelerating, gotta keep your speed up above 80 knots, but you want it accelerating and barely touching the water otherwise you're getting too much drag to gain speed....
