Deathclaw mothers: "Oh look, this is a nice quiet neighborhood to raise the kids."
Oxhorn: "No."

I like how this basically is the Courier and Cass getting drunk, entering a deathclaw nest and commiting a massacre while drinking whisky.

Slave: swims across river to escape cottonwood cove
Deaftclers: “welcome to the salty splatoon how tough are ya?*

Wait a second didn’t easy Pete say he had a good claim by the river but got muscled out by younger more armored and armed prospects

This video taught me that the word Promontory exists

Normal people when they see a Deathclaw: Yup, we out.
Ox when he sees a Deathclaw: Takes out knife Ight bet, come at me.

Went here with a varmint rifle. Had a bad time.

I found this place on accident when I was level 9.  searching the river for locations.  Suddenly I was being chased by 10 deathclaws and screaming in an octave not knowable to the human ear.

You'd think this is where the legendary Deathclaw would be.

How come it's been months, and no one has mentioned that he drank whiskey before he shot a mother and her kids?

This seems to be one of these locations where the fatman truly shines.

Deathclaws: "It's over, Oxhorn! We have the high ground!"
Oxhorn: "No! I have the high ground!"

Fallout 3 Ox: I have the best Power Armor, the best Gatling Laser, a Gaus Rifle, a Tesla cannon and a Alien Pistol.

Fallout NV Ox: I'm an Ncr Cowboy. YEEEEHAAAAA

Cass: "The beast’s hide is too thick to pierced from the outside. I must cut through it from the inside."
Oxhorn: "Cass, what are you doing Cass!?"

What if the brotherhood member and enclave remnant both ended up fighting side by side for a bid of survival

I like to think the BoS paladin and Enclave soldier were lovers meeting Romeo and Julia style and obliterated by deathclaws during their date.

The base game doesn’t label the two dead corpses as from the Enclave or the Brotherhood. According to the fallout wiki and from what I’ve played on the Xbox 360, the two bodies are simply Dead Prospectors.

Hearing Ed-e war music always brings back memories

I remember stumbling blindly onto this area. I had a pretty similar progression of "Huh, that's a lot of pips on the radar." > "Oh crap a deathclaw."> "Oh god more deathclaws!" > "What the hell it's ALL DEATHCLAWS?!"

I love how NV is still relevant
