Dude... Sleep Token's changed

A rare band in which the aesthetic is the icing, not the cake.

When the nose is flopping, the band is rocking.

Bro, your tv is on fire

The Angine de Poitrine reaction videos are becoming its own ecosystem.

I haven't heard one remotely talented musician talk any shit on these guys. This is one of those rare moments where every sane musician runs into this and is like, "Yep...this is pretty god-damn fantastic."

These riffs will live rent free in my head forever. Absolutely incredible!

Just watch the entire KEXP session. It's worth it.

Back in the day the music we liked defied our parents—today we like music that defies AI.

Scrolling through the comment section of that kexp performance video is my favourite thing in 26.

Dude is running a 6 channel looper

Stages of the Angine de Poitrine fan:
Stage 1 - This is so weird, but cool. Not sure how I feel about it
Stage 2 - This is awesome
Stage 3 - Absolute addiction

As much as we want them to be french here in France, we have to admit they are our north American cousins from Quebec. 😄 ⚜️

The first time you hear AdP - “It’s interesting, but I probably won’t listen to it again” - a week later “IT’S THE ONLY THING I LISTEN TO!!!”

If you watch the whole performance, you start to spot that at times, the guitarist is recording loops that you can’t hear yet, while other loops are playing, then he fades them in with the volume pedal while playing a bass line over the top. Super talented guy!

I am 53 years old and have NEVER owned a vinyl record in my life. I bought both of their vinyls, I can't get enough and now I need to buy a turntable

After a few weeks the microtones will sound normal & good

YOU CAN'T UNHEAR AdP... once you hear it,  the earworm cometh...

This is actually the most normal song of all of them!

If you watch closely it looks like this guy is building loops, in some in ear monitor situation that the mix cant hear, and then firing them into the "mix" when the time is right! Thats seriously next level looping! No matter how you look at it, the reason they're going viral is because people recognize genius in whatever form it presents itself.
