It's so refreshing to see people who know what they are talking about appreciate this amazing performance

Ahyeon's range is insane. One of the best vocalist of 5th generation

Funfact. Ahyeon faced massive hate after this performance. Haters said she was off-key and screaming instead of singing. People accustomed to dance oriented K-pop can't handle powerful live vocals

There is indeed a lot of lip syncing, autotune, vocal splitting in KPOP. But one thing you can rest assured is that BABYMONSTER is the real deal. Watch any of their award show performances or concert clips, you will see they always sing live. They are well known for their live performance skills in the industry!

Yes! Finally! I am waiting for this. BABYMONSTER are real monsters when it comes to LIVE VOCALS. I hope you react more to their LIVE PERFORMANCES! Thank you so much!!!

haters out there keep giving unpleasant and unnecessary comments about them,
especially ahyeon, acting as if they are professional vocal coaches, while actual professional vocal coaches are extremely impressed by them. We can't deny the fact that they are among the singers with the best and strongest vocals in the K-pop world. Im really proud of them esp to my one and only bias-JUNG AHYEON.

Standing before tens of thousands of people, for one time only. No second chance.

Ahyeon we won again 😭😭😭 haters just jealousy of you ahyeonie

This is the only group that you can't stick to one bias. Although my bias is AHYEON, but RORA, PHARITA, RAMI, ASA, RUKA and CHIQUITA are my bias wreckers. They are so talented that you can't leave a one member. Please react more to their other live performances! Thank you

there faces at 4:55 😂, ahyeon always catches you off guard with how strong and clear and high her belt can get

Watch Lee mujin, Rami on ep125, Ahyeon on ep140 and Chiquita on ep189. Baby Monster girls perform live 4 cover songs each.

GUYS! AHYEON'S HIGH NOTE IS CONFIRMED BY VOCAL COACHES - B!!! The highest in 5 and 4 gen! And of the highest in whole KPOP! Congratulation, monstiez!!!

Finally, AHYEON gets the praise she deserves!!! So proud of her 🩵

Even songs composed by the original composer have to lower their high notes when performed live. Baemon still sings exactly as the composer used it in the anime, and impressively, he even goes up one step higher.

Let's not overlook the fact that they performed 'We Go Up' and 'Drip' at MAMA just a day before, and Ahyeon herself mentioned that her voice was strained. Imagine how much better she could have sung this with some proper rest.

I’ve seen a lot of comments criticizing Ahyeon, saying that her tone was exaggerated and annoying. There was even a vocal coach who said that she was pushing her voice too hard, to the point that she went off-key.

As an Ahyeon fan, I see this performance differently. It gives me the excitement and tension that come from performing in front of a huge crowd with energetic music playing. That’s exactly the feeling I get when I watch it.

Yes praising my girl Ahyeon!! Vocal coaches praise her for what she did, especially in the original key. She is young still. She will make mistakes, she will grow and only get better. Her range being only 19, 18 when she performed this, is impressive.

This performance was from the 2025 MAMA Awards, the biggest K-Pop award show in the world. This year it was held in Hong Kong over two days (which is why Ahyeon spoke Chinese at the very end of the performance, she is fluent in Korean, Chinese, English and basic conversation in Japanese and Thai. The stadium that they performed in holds 50,000 people.
