i'm always astonished by how people like you are able to maintain such a high quality standard while also having such good attention to detail. even after so many hours, i'm always overwhelmed and can never make a city look good as a whole.

So a small japanese developing critique, Japanese development laws state that the width of the road decides the height of the building to avoid shadows, for example a single lane road can only have 3-5 stories. For set dressing it looks good, but just a small realistic note.

my biggest shock coming to tokyo for vacation is how there's A LOT of trains station. but it really reach a lot of places and it's more efficient to use train around

Man you can get a lot of Japan with only a few assets. Great work. Especially love the work on transitions in this one.

I live in the suburbs of Osaka and work in Osaka City.
Your video was really interesting to watch.
It reminded me of both Osaka and Kobe.
I could also sense the atmosphere of rural areas like Tondabayashi City and Kanan Town in the Osaka suburbs.
I look forward to watching your future videos.

Could you please Make longer Videos? By that i mean, more unedited. i would love more of your thought process in between and all the public transport lines you create for example, 15 Minutes is really dry tbh

YEEEES FINALLY JAPAN AGAIN

Holy shit this feels so weird because I've literally been looking for asian styled primarily japanese styled cities in cities skylines 2 and other city building games.

You absolutely nailed the look of a Japanese city with this!

Hill-side shrines and outlook/overlook points tucked into the mountains and near their peaks are also a regular occurrence for a rural Japan theme as well with narrow, somwhat unkept (depending on location and nearby density) roads with plenty of switchbacks that come up one side and back down the other that might also link two smaller communities together that are separated by a mountain for the transportation of goods via light utility.

Perhaps even a hotel near a body of water at the top of a mountain where a certain person of talent spends their early mornings delivering tofu to said hotel in a panda Trueno? 🧐

14:08 an airport on an artificial island near the harbour would be a great japanese addition as the city grows, kinda the last stop of the highway before it reaches the outside connection.

What a great build Lemons! The rural to urban blend is spot on.
Gakegawa in the Nosaka Prefecture... genki desu!
Just need a Shinkansen asset now...

Glad to see this serie again! You say you didnt have much skill that other creator, in roads or rail, but you have better understand the relation between urban and rural, and you have maybe better understand the real scale of this game. The result is stunning.

I’m Japanese, and though a few parts feel a bit unnatural, you really nailed the unique features! Great job on the reproduction.
