His Majesty the King made a private visit to Wing 7 in Surat Thani Province to observe Her Majesty Queen Suthida's solo flight training.

Her Majesty Queen Suthida successfully piloted the Gripen aircraft and landed it, with His Majesty the King observing both the takeoff and landing.

Following the flight, His Majesty the King presented a bouquet of flowers to Her Majesty Queen Suthida to congratulate her and bestowed upon her the Gripen Order Golden Patch from the Royal Thai Air Force.

Afterward, Their Majesties received a post-flight briefing at the simulator building before returning to Bangkok, flying the Surat Thani – Don Mueang route back to Amporn Sathan Palace, Dusit Palace.
