Did Carmelo say what players really think about Steph, or is this being overstated?

Steph has definitely earned his way into the conversation for sure. And he’s definitely number 1 at PG for me

Facts. Steph earned every bit to be in the conversation

His USA Olympic play elevated his status.

He has 4 should be 5 rings
Changed how the game is played and got his chips in less time than Bron also stayed with 1 team

I totally agree with what Steph said. Jordan, kobe, him. 🤜🤛

if curry's not one of the goats, then why do opposing teams put their best defenders on him? double team him? triple team him? grab/bump/push/claw/scratch/hold him? guard him when he crosses half court? does full court press on him? put all 5 eyes on him? force him off the 3pt line?.... wanted a simple explanation to all these questions.

1:02 giving respect where it is due. 👏

Oracle Arena was NEVER empty. In fact, it was ALWAYS sold out. Even in the 'losing' years.

One thing I don't here anyone talking about is the size difference

I think Steph is selling himself short.
If anything, he’s being modest.

For me, the order is clear: Steph at #1, then Jordan, Kobe, and LeBron.

And I’ve got a very real reason for putting Steph at the top.

He changed the game.
He’s a smaller player in a big man’s league, yet he’s dominated it in a way nobody expected. Some of the best defenders in the world have admitted that guarding Steph is a nightmare. What makes him dangerous isn’t just when he has the ball — it’s when he doesn’t. His off‑ball movement is pure chaos for defenses.

I’ve watched him embarrass elite defenders who thought they could stay in front of him. And he does it all with a smile. Trash‑talking him is a mistake, because it just motivates him to humiliate you in front of the entire arena.

I could go on, but the point is simple:
Steph Curry is a generational talent.

I’m not saying we’ll never see another player like him — but we also can’t say we ever will.

At 74 years old I have seen hundreds of NBA PLAYERS that were great. Michael Jordan became my favorite because of his style and of course he ability and talent but to me he brought a Style. That competitive confidence. Kobe next in my mind was the next Michael Jordan and performed to that adding even more above 23 Kobe was great. Some want to promote LeBron and he deserves it, however; LeBron has something that not many players in the league, height, weight, physical stature with speed and basketball knowledge. He is great but he is not Steph Curry who is in a class of his own. In my lifetime I have never sorry, the only live game that I have ever attended was the the Baltimore Bullets, could not afford any seat other than what felt to like being on the roof of the Civic Center. I can’t see the games like I need cable that out of budget but I must say that I watch Curry replays and that young amazes me. Watching his replays brings tears to my eyes, for a small man in the game at 6’2 I personally see shades of a lot of great. It’s like watching a combination of the games best players I can’t help but shed a tear or two to see him it’s like I am front row but watching a replay. STEPH YOU ARE A LOT OF PLAYERS IN ONE AND THAT IS TO INCLUDE YOUR DAD (DELL). I hope you have many more years in you because in my eyes you are the best in your of players, putting you in the category with All of the past greats that shaped the game.

AMAZING ANNOUNCER,  EXCELLENT!!!!  TRUE TO THE BONE...(STEPHEN CURRY... GREATNESS) 💯💯💯💯

His legacy when he finally closets his shoes will include his time as a head coach in the NBA. Curry possesses amazing intellect  about basketball. A game he and his other splash brother, Clay Thompson, along with some stellar coaching, by Steve Kerr, changed the Warriors and the game. He certainly belongs in the conversation about the GOAT and, while he considers himself to be number three, his star is rising.

I remember Kendrick Perkins and Domonique Foxworth holding up the zero over their eye saying the the Warriors had a 0% chance of winning another championship. Well a year later they hoisted up the trophy. Steph held up the same zero after holding the trophy. Shout out to D-Wade, Kobe and Steph who stayed even in the lean times in this modern era of players and team up with other great to chase rings.
A skinny kid looking like a highschooler(6'-3" around 170 lbs) coming into the league, not the most athletic, not the fastest, not explosive, however he had three things, skills, will and grit. He refused to be bullied...he kicked in the proverbial door with his accomplishments and sat down at the table of greatness and no one could or can do anything about it!
He wasn't supposed to be able to keep doing it, but he did and still is!

He's the MAN

Stephen Curry loves the number 3 ❤

I think he’s being modest to put himself at #3  From Building up Golden State to the last 4 shots at the Olympic Final to clinch the win over France He showed the world his greatness. If Steph was the PG not SG at Olympics  I think he would have shined thru  out  because he would have directed the play and better ball movement.

Its called loyalty

Steph Curry Changed The Game Of Basketball.  Through Him Expanding It's Shooting Range Even Beyond The Three Point Line, On To Half -Court!  Indeed;  He Is Being Top Tier In/For The Game, While Still In His Prime Now.  It Only Solidifies His Competitive Killer Spirit, Wherein, Early, Kobe Recognized An Stone Cold killer Instinct In Steph And Clay(Slash Brothers)', They Were Slashing Their Way To The Top Of The League.  Yet;  Steph Took It Even Higher, Onward Towards Mamba-Mentality, Through Showing Real Endurance As Well(Four Championships Rings).  A Least For Me;  I've Seen Enough.  Especially After His Olympian Spectacular Finals Superstar Ending To France's Hopes, In The Final Game,  He Really Put To Sleep Any Doubt As To Who He Is Thru, Placing An Gold Medal Clenching Winning Performance, That Surely Will Enter Onto The History Of The Greatest Olympics Performances, Ever.  Peace...
